Used in our Maytag
My husband used it to fix our Maytag washing machine? It is working very well and cost a fraction of what it would have cost from Maytag.

great tight fit
perfect and tight fit for my maytag neptune washer it was really tight fitting so it took some persuading with a hammer and my husbands strength because we didnt have the tool to put it in but it is possible to do with a board and hammer and the old part if your careful to make sure you hit it in equal all around.

the machine smoked horribly and had an acrid smell
this bearing was very difficult to install in our washing machine, and once we got it in, the machine smoked horribly and had an acrid smell. Internet tutorials said to run the washer several times and it would dissipate, but we ran it 10 times and it just kept getting worse. We ended up junking the machine and buying a new one. I'm giving the bearing 4 stars because I don't know if the bearing was bad, or if we damaged it during installation, but either way it didn't end up working out for us.

It does what it should.
Its a bearing... it spins. It could be a bit less inexpensive but if you need it then I guess you have to pay to get it.

Also a must have for a POS Maytag Neptune
I won't get to in deepth as my review for the 6206-2RS bearing review should cover this bearing as well. I will add also don't be bashful with the never sieze, it will save flustration latter as despite the fact you probably will have to buy the 6206-2RS and 6207-2RS along with a seal kit again in the future and it's alot cheaper then a new front loader.

As advertised
The item was made in China but I had no issues

lifesaver
This product and the seal kit although not fun to change allowed me to fix my Maytag washer at a small fraction of the cost of having a Maytag repairman do it.

Front loading Maytag washer bearings
As advertised it got my machine back in action. But man the old ones can be murder to remove. FYI, I had to Dremel the outer race to remove it since the inner was trashed as were the old bearings. but at leat I didn't drop $400 on a "Tony Tool" just to end up cutting the race apart anyways. I carefully seated the bearings using a 4x4 hub socket to drive them in with.
