This little mat has stopped the litter mess around our cats' boxes. With two cats and two litter boxes, the laundry room floor always had cat litter and litter dust on the floor near the boxes. Since we bought this product, the mess is no longer a problem.

I was kind of annoyed when it arrived because it’s meant to look like the two piece deal you keep seeing advertised, but it is not. It is more like a pocket. So it is attached on three sides and the fourth side is open and I was kind of annoyed that I got hoodwinked but after using it for a few weeks I think it ultimately is less annoying to dump out the granules this way. You just have to pick it up and tilt the open end into the litter pan and that’s that, no disassembly or assembly each time.

to be honest, I dont ever take this out and fold it up to dump out the litter, i simply just vacuum it up through the holes, it does catch a LOT of litter though and my floors have been relatively clean with little to no litter. But it also depends on what kinda litter you use obviously, i use worlds best cat litter and like I said, theres not much tracking. Now any mat can capture litter, its weather or not do you care about shaking it into the garbage or just easily sliding it out. It does it's job and its very durable. I dont really remember how much I paid for this but I wouldn't pay over $10 for this if you can

This is good for a small litter box. However, I noticed that it’s not deep enough to really catch a lot of litter, and they pretty much sit on the surface. It’s still easy to use and catch the litter so you don’t have to worry about it being on the floor. However, I only recommended if you have a really small litter box unless you purchased the larger size.

I was skeptical… Two big jumbo cats with litter boxes in the garage…and we’ve been sweeping up litter that’s tracked into the house daily for years. Our old “rubber fibers” mats trapped some, but nowhere near all of the tracked litter, they smelled dreadful, and were nearly impossible to clean, even by submerging or pressure washing. These new mats astonished me (seriously) by reducing tracked litter to nearly insignificant amounts. They don’t smell and are a breeze to clean (I just take them outside and give ‘em a quick shake over the lawn). They take a while (weeks) to really flatten out after shipping, but it’s not enough to consider even a slight drawback. Give them a try… And they are waaay less expensive than our old rubber fiber mats!

That was the best mat I purchased!! The area around the litter box stay clean, was all trapped in the mat! Love it

It does what it says, it's a good litter mat. I got the large size -- which was worth it, because the more of the floor the mat covers, the less often you'll actually need to sweep. Very hard to clean because of the hexagonal mesh on top, though. My cat managed to mash a turd into it and I decided it was better to replace it for $25 rather than try to get all of it out of the mat. Not waterproof, though -- when I lifted it up, there was a urine spot that had soaked through to the ground, and it was soaked enough that when I set the mat down for a few minutes to clean, there was already another wet spot underneath.

I wish it was bigger. But it does get bits of litter in the little holes 🕳️

The mat seems to catch litter, but it was delivered in a box all folded up and so it has huge creases in it. The box actually also contained a little info sheet that said to use a hair dryer or heavy weight to remove the creases. I did both, and the creases persist.
