They are very sturdy and comfortable to hold. The hand loop on the back can be made larger for better grip. The buttons from the case work well with connection to the tablet buttons. We don't use the long strap, but it could be handy if carrying outside for field work. Overall, a great buy and very functional. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value for this kind of protection *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020* As long as you put it together correctly, this case looks and feels like a perfect fit for the Galaxy Tab A 8” 2019. It does make the tablet quite a bit bulkier and heavier, but it also makes it less likely to be damaged if you accidentally drop it. The cutouts are all in the right places for the camera, speakers, and charging port. The power and volume buttons are easy to press. The fold-out stand on the back of my case is a bit difficult to pop out unless you lift it at just the right spot. The velcro adjustable handle was one of the main reasons I purchased this case over similar models. I have a phone case with this feature, and I love the added security it provides if you are on the move a lot - the tablet won’t just fly out of your hands. I removed the buckles that are meant to be attached to the extra adjustable strap, as I don’t need this, but you can position the buckles so that it hangs horizontally (like around the back of a car headrest) or vertically.
