PowerStop Z26 Evolution Pro Muscle Brake Pad Rotor Kit Front Rear K2853-26

My old brakes weren't horrible - plenty of pad left and the rotors only had minor wear. There was really nothing wrong with them. But I was looking for an excuse to tey these out, so the first squeak I heard from the brakes and I placed my order. (Honestly, it could have been from the clapped-out 1989 Accord next to me at the light, but we'll never know...) Installation is straightforward as far as brakes and rotors go. Took 2 hours front and rear. All parts were there, including new caliper slide boots, which I wasn't expecting. (Don't forget to service these!!) Once the car was back on the ground and the pads were seated, time for break-in. Follow the included instructions!! Five 40-10mph hard decelerations, five more from 35-5, drive without stopping for 5 minutes to cool. Once that was done and the rotors were cooled, the braking improvements were incredible. Like I said, the factory brakes weren't really bad, but these just made a HUGE difference. No noise, no chatter, no vibrations. The brakes feel solid and stopping distance is definitely shorter. 100% satisfied!

I have a 2013 Dodge charger RT fit like a glove they're better than they were new so if you're thinking about putting OE equipment on it don't buy these they're very good and well worth it

Excellent stopping power, perfect for into stock calipers and a smooth look. I would say the only downside is that the plating seems to flake off a bit during the break-in process and you may notice some roughness during the break-in, but I imagine that's the point. These are definitely better than stock in terms in braking distance and I think the quality of the parts appears to be excellent. I'll update this again in a few months after they're fully broken in. Update: It's been 8 months and these are still going strong. One bonus which I like is that they still look new. The sort of stainless/polished look remains after use, whereas some brands may start to flake off or fade. No downsides to report yet.

First off, the price was great...over $100 less than anywhere online! Shipping was fast. My brother installed them in less than 2 hours on my Dodge Challenger.

Great brake set overall. No noise, significantly more braking power, and look nice. The only issue I had was the new brake clips for my rear brakes were not the same size and didn't fit properly. Ended up just greasing the old clips and using those in its place. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5

All I can say (as not a mechanic) was this was really easy and straightforward to install. I even serviced the caliper pins. I am not going to lie, the rear rotor was absolute hell to take off, but that was because of rust and what such. Thank goodness for brake cleaner. The caliper tops were a bit of of a mystery to get off, but once I figured that out it was easy peasy. The vehicle got new brakes and rotors and stopping really good now. Good product, heard a lot of good things about them, would recommend.

I am very happy with these brakes. They not only stop my 2011 Challenger faster and smoother than the factory brakes, they also look fantastic through the wheels. I installed them and completed the recommended break in. I live in a large metropolitan area and have a daily commute to and from work that causes me to battle freeway traffic. The day after I installed these brakes, someone decided to crash and traffic went from speeds of 65 - 70 down to a stand still. I had just merged into the far left (passing) lane and suddenly came upon stopped cars. I slammed on my brakes and the ABS kicked in immediately. My car stopped really fast avoiding a collision. I have had to slam on the brakes before and in similar conditions, (dry pavement, warm weather) the ABS never kicked in because the tires were not about to lock up. Serious upgrade!

Huge difference in performance from OEM definitely do the bedding correctly to get these to stop on a dime, they are great when you heat them up, after 6 months started getting noise from one side, and after 4 months one of them started to rust like crazy, I don't live anywhere near salt or corrosives, I take care of my things, so keep in mind how the rotors might look after a bit of use. Update: 4/19/2025 avoid these brakes, bad quality, rusted up quick as mentioned before and they no longer stop/bite like they use to! They also make noise! Specially when stopping a little hard.

Perfect fit for 2012 dodge challenger sxt+ with performance package. Never seen brake dust since installed about a month now. Highly recommend.

These pads and rotors make your vehicle stop on a dime and then gives you change. Really easy to install.
