Simple product, BIG organizational impact!
Downsized with no mudroom or hall closet and four people living in the house has its challenges. When you have a smaller house the floors can get dirty quickly so we moved to a “shoes off at the door” policy. This led to a pile of shoes dropped immediately inside the door in what is already a tight space. Not only did it look disorganized but it also gave my puppy easy access.I chose this piece because of its compact size and simple design. I thought it would be unobtrusive when there are no shoes on it and blend in with the organic vibe. Shown are the pictures of what used to be the drop spot by the back door and where we are currently leaving shoes by the sliding door. It would fit in both spaces, but for now this is working out well. The design is basic which I wanted, assembly was easy and all the parts were included. The wood pieces were in good shape although not matched for color. This doesn’t bother me, but I can see where someone who is more particular might be annoyed - dropped a star for that. (I don’t think anyone’s really going to notice especially when they’re shoes on it). It’s sturdy whether there’s two pairs on it or a full rack as I have right now.I am wondering how the wood will hold up through the winter as we add snowy wet boots to it, but time will tell.Is it worth the price paid? I purchased when there was a coupon and I didn’t find anything that I liked as much for less, no issues with wood (beyond cosmetic), supplies, or rods so no complaints here!

Poorly designed or wrong screws - which one?
The holes fir the bottom support are too small and the screw heads won’t fit and won’t hold the front and back slats firmly enough. Either a poor design or they shipped the wrong screws. Really bad.
