HOTOR Car Trash Can, Leakproof Car Organizer, 2-Gallon, Black

Love this trash can! It fits nicely on the headrest rails so it stays in perfect place for me to put trash in while on the road and still have it out of the way. The stays that come with it, keep it in a firm rectangle shape so that it remains easy to use. Putting the stays in was a bit difficult, and their placement wasn't clearly shown in the instructions, so I had to watch a video from the manufacturer's website to get it done properly. They're very snug to put in, but well worth the effort. The lid is a nice feature as well. It keeps me from pulling on the sides of the trash bag, so the magnetic "buttons" holding it in place don't have to work as hard. Not to mention that the lid also hides the trash, so the person sitting in the back seat isn't looking at all of my candy wrappers LOL All in all, this durable trash container is exactly what I was looking for.

Very convenient and easy to set up. I bought this for rideshare and it's professional-looking and presentable. I also like the size and design. The bracing is a little weird to install at first, but once you do that, everything else is a cake walk.

I recently purchased a new car and wanted to upgrade from using a grocery store bag as a trash bag. The HOTOR car trash bag fit the bill perfectly. It looks great with my black interior and gives the car a much cleaner, more polished appearance. I’ve been using it for about two months and have been happy with the purchase overall. One tip: don’t forget to order the trash bag refills when you buy it. My only complaint is that the opening where you place the trash doesn’t hold its shape very well. It tends to collapse inward, which can make it a little less convenient to use. Other than that, it’s a stylish and functional addition to my vehicle.

Perfect for our Corolla Hybrid and Honda Fit. I especially appreciate the magnetic liner clips to keep the inside of the bag clean and make emptying a breeze. I also like the extra mesh pockets on the outside for things like hand sanitizer. Very portable and seems to be made of durable material.

This is a great car trash can. I bought the 2 gallon black, the size is good to fit on the back floor between the console and the back seat. It's a true black. It's very sturdy and seems durable. I like that it has a zipped top but also an easy access rubberized opening that you can just stick your hand in but also closes to keep trash and smells in. The top of the can keeps its shape via 2 metal pieces that you have to maneuver into place. It took a bit of doing to get them into place, but it was not difficult and it keeps the bag from re-folding. It has a strap that you can hang from the headrest or center console, or you can just set it on the floor. It has 3 mesh pockets which you can use to keep extra bags (the trash can comes with 2 bags but you can use grocery bags or other small bags), tissues, napkins, or whatever. Inside the bag there are magnetic straps to hold the bag in place. This is a nice touch that keeps the bag from falling down into the trash can. I haven't tested its water and leak-proofness.

This turned out to be nicer than I expected. On a 2026 Subaru Outback, it fits under the center console lid, and then hangs into the backseat area at just the perfect height to not interfere with the rear A/C vents. The interior is lined so you can put water bottles or soda cans in it without worrying if they're completely empty. It's easily removable, so you can dump it or rinse it out when needed. The opening is large enough that you can put trash in it without having to unzip the top to get stuff to fit inside, and it's a quick snap to undo it and make it portable if necessary. For cars without a ton of space to put a larger trash can-type item in, this is great for helping to keep things clean.

I really wanted to love this. I love the snaps for the bag on the inside, as I prefer a cleaner look, and most of the others like this have clips on the outside, so you would see the bag handles. The idea is great. The execution, not so much. It does not have the stays on the sides that can slide in so that it will keep its form, so unless it is fully stuffed with garbage, it collapses and lays weird. Also, the top leather-type material is extremely stiff. For some people, this is great. For me, I pretended to put things in, and it actually scratched my hand.

I recently had to replace my old car because the repair bills were becoming more expensive than the car itself. While cleaning it out, I made a pretty disgusting discovery. 😂 I always thought I kept a relatively clean car… until I removed my daughter's car seat. Oh my goodness! The crumbs, wrappers, and random little things hiding underneath were enough to make me wonder how I missed it all. Needless to say, I was determined NOT to let my new-to-me car get to that point! That's when I decided a car trash can might be exactly what we needed. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase! It was easy to assemble and install, fits nicely without looking bulky, and actually looks pretty good in the car. It's a simple, functional solution for all those little pieces of trash that somehow accumulate. But here's the BEST part… my daughter actually LOVES using it! She's voluntarily putting her trash in the can instead of tossing it around the back seat i or on the floor. If you're a parent, you know that's a pretty big win! 😂 Full disclosure, I've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability or how leakproof it is. But so far, it's doing exactly what I hoped it would. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, based on my experience so far! Sometimes the simplest little additions make everyday life easier. And if this keeps my new car from looking like my old one did underneath that car seat, I'll consider it money well spent!

Brilliant & stylish bin for a vehicle...easy to install & gives a premier look inside the car...have got it installed in my Jeep Compass...a little expensive but worth the buy...

I was trying to find something discrete and useful at the same time, after buying some others car trash can I gave this one a try and I am amazed by the quality, very well made holds a lot of tissue paper (that is the main reason because of my morning allergy) come with 2 plastic bags and is super easy to put on. Highly recommended.
