Tea Time!
I bought these for my granddaughter for Christmas, and she loved them. We have been drinking a lot of pretend tea lately. I like the fact that the tea pot will interact with her, ask her for a certain color of cake, etc. Very entertaining.

A great learning toy! And darling too!
Cannot recommend this enough! My daughter adores it. She played with one of these sets over at my friend's daughters' house, and she was obsessed. I got one for my little girl as a Christmas present, and she was THRILLED. This was the first present she opened, and then she didn't want to open anything else for a while because she was too busy playing with it haha. I like that it has 2 different loudness settings. The "tea" (represented by colored wave-y lights) inside actually goes from looking full, to half-full, to empty (no light). The teapot tells you how much tea is left. The real object of the 'game', if you will, is to match the color of the tea - represented by the light on inside - to the piece of cake. It took me a bit of time to get this concept. Also because my daughter kept fiddling around with it and I never actually heard it get to the part where it tells you to match the tea to the similarly-colored cake piece. The teapot will sing a song while cycling through all of the colors, then end on one color at random and ask you to find the piece of cake which goes with it. Good for receptive language skills! I'm a therapist who works with children with language disorders, and I think I'll probably end up being a 2nd one to use with my patients. You can target receptive language, expressive language (discussing what is happening), social skills/pragmatics (sharing! turn-taking!), and more. Love it :)

Super interactive
I'll be comparing this to the FP (fisher price) sweet Manners tea set in terms of interactive-ness and accessories. Last year I got the FP set. This year I got the leapfrog one and right out of the box I could already spot many differences. Rather than boasting just songs that describe its accessories it has many cute features such a a mirror under the lid, an open front that actually let's you see the "tea" inside, and it reacts to small things like leaving the lid open. Leaving the lid open too long will cause it to ask you to close the lid before the tea gets too cold, if you pour the tea too much or too long it tells you to "brew" a new batch by pressing a certain button. So already just by those small miniscule details it's already far more fun to play with. The FP set only has a tray with a few fake treats on a shap tray, a spoon, and a sugar thing that can't even be removed. It only sings songs and talks about the treat tray. This set has a cake tray, each cake is an individual color and slice, with a picture on each, both sets come with two cups, and both have a pouring sound when tipped.I'm happy to say unlike our FP set this one doesn't glitch and make the pour sound for no reason. An added bonus is both my kids love it. Especially my little boy. :) win win!

Very cute but cups have holes in them
This is so adorable! I bought it for my granddaughter’s birthday. She will love playing tea party with me.It came in a frustration free box which I already knew about and all the pieces were nicely packaged.I was puzzled as to why the holes were in the cups. I read a review from a few years ago that said it was for packaging purposes to attach to the plastic. Since that’s not the case now, maybe we’re just getting the overflow cups with the holes.I also wish there was a serving tray with the set. I had a tray that fit the set perfectly. I also velcroed the pieces to the tray. Thought that would encourage my granddaughter to put the pieces back when done playing.

Very good for 1-3 yr old
It plays a cute song when pouring tee. The colors are bright, it appears to be sturdy and safe for my young granddaughters. I have bought this twice. Great gift for 1 yr old girl.
