I used this to mail my 6 pound tortoise from Cali to Florida and he made it fine!

I used these to transport a tortoise across country. I was disappointed with these. They took a REALLY long time to warm up. So be warned, they say 30 minutes, but it was a couple of hours for me. I also had to use two at a time to try to keep him warm.

As a reptile breeder, these are my go-to packs for shipping reptiles this time of year. They get warm, but not too warm, and stay warm such that shipped snakes are still comfortable when they arrive at my customer's house early the next morning. Don't ever use more than one in a box, and it's best not to ship at all if lows will get below freezing. You never know when FEDEX will screw up a delivery.Using these heat packs, I haven't lost a single animal to the cold.

Use these to travel from Florida to Ohio with our ball python, We drive straight threw so only need 1 on the way up and one on the way down! We always stop 3 or 4 times to check on him but is always a super happy camper with these! Works perfect for him!

NOT SAFE FOR WINTER FLIGHTS!! They did get warm enough for indoor use, but didn't stand a chance in the plane's cargo hold over the east cost in January. Myscale baby was practically a popsicle when I took him out on arrival! I put him in my shirt immediately, and was fine after maybe 3 hours, but I almost lost him.For reference, he's a 1.5lb 1.5yr old ball python, and I used 2 packs on the outside of a 8x8 Tupperware.

I use these for my bearded dragon when I have to take him on vacation with me. They get to a decent temperature but I have not had one that lasts the entire 30 hours. I'd say they maybe last me about 16 or so.

I've never had a problem using these to ship live specimens overnight. If packed properly, these heat consistently and safely.
