Only needed these for a single event night, but was still annoyed by the quality of the pack I received. I was under the assumption that a piece of paper could be held easily by the friction hold between the two plastic pieces of each individual badge. We ended up using double-stick tape and hot glue to keep them closed for the whole night.Granted. If you're all right with the permanent nature of gluing or taping the badges you might be fine with the construction. The pin backing never wore out and the clear front made the name clear and visible.

I love these oval pins. I made vaccinated badges for my whole family.The plastic fits snug but does pop out easy. So when you're sure you have it the way you want it a little dab of crazy glue keeps the plastic cover in.Also beware that the plastic cover that goes on top of your badge is slightly scratched. All of them had slight imperfections on the plastic cover. However the value for the money still makes it way worth it. Just for fun or parties

We used these as name tags for a party and they worked great. They were sometimes hard to open, but once we figured it out, everything worked great!

Ordered these for my workplace, they require some filing of sharp little plastic bits, and some cleaning/polishing as they appear quite marked/scratched, but they come up reasonably well.Not quite sure they're worth about $0.50 each but that's not bad at all really!
