I've been collecting their stuff since the late 90's, and have their full catalog and several live recordings to compare it to. Yeah, I have to admit that it may not be their best, but it was sort of an interesting premise, well-executed and produced as a snapshot of the tour, and spotlights several high points. among these, I would have to personally include Christina Marrs on 'Blue Prelude' (from HOT LUNCH), new Spanker Charlie King on 'My Baby In The CIA', Wammo on 'Leaf Blower', and the inimitable Stanley Smith, well, on just about anything. We can argue about matters of taste all day long, but I think it's just the continuation of a happy tradition for the group.
