Gem-Inside 8MM Round Green Peridot Beads Strand 15 Inchesjewelry Making Beads

These were NOT peridot. Received them in the time frame projected (a little less than one month), but when they got here, they were obviously colored glass beads. They were very pretty, but NOT peridot as advertised. Will definitely not order from Gem-Inside again. I ordered a total of four different items. Of the four, only one was as advertised. Two were obviously not the material advertised and one was much, much smaller than advertised. Was pleased with only one of the bead types ordered.1) Gem-Inside Twisted black agate beads 8X16mm - NOT agate. Did not have the weight or feel of stone. Pretty sure these were glass, maybe plastic.2) Shipwreck Beads Hematite round beads 3mm - very pleased with size and appearance of these beads.3) Gem-Inside 2mm Peridot Faceted beads - these were much, much tinier than 2mm. Way smaller than the 3mm hematite beads (much less than 1/4 the size). Had to use glasses + magnifier to see any holes. I do believe they were peridot, though.4) Gem-Inside 8mm Round Green Peridot Beads - not peridot, but glass. You could see where the dye was injected.Note each item that was labeled "Gem-Inside" was not as advertised. The one item labeled "Shipwreck Beads" was good.

NOT PERIDOT. DYED QUARTZ OR GLASS. caution this brand. I had my doubts and when I took them to a bead reseller he said they were dyed probably quartz.

These beads are awesome. I am not sure what I will make with these beads. They bright fully saturated w/ color.

I loved working with these beads and was proud to show them to my friends. They looked pretty and also real.

I have bought these beads on another site using the same seller. They ARE Peridot. I took them to my local certified gemologist today and she saw the characteristics of Peridot in them. They are very included and dyed but both the inclusions and the dye make them very beautiful and very interesting.
