HIC Double-Ear Fine Mesh Strainer Set, Nylon Mesh, Set of 3

This might seem dumb to some folks... and I would never buy anything plastic for food besides. I wanted a plastic with strong tight mesh for a pool filter. When I'm in the pool I do not want to use the big telescopic pole. The large size is perfect for main pool, the medium for spa, and small one I tossed in the sandbox for the babies to play with For $7 for the set that is a bargain. I can quickly scoop all the leaves and bugs from top of the water in our pool.

I love these and use them all the time for various purposes in my kitchen, such as straining chicken broth and kefir. They are pretty easy to clean. They were a good price for all three - glad I got the set. I use all the sizes. They are holding up very well. I recommended to a friend and she purchases them as well. I would buy again.

Having the ears to hang the strainers onto various receptacles is nice for freeing up both hands. I purchased these for straining my water kefir. The different size meshes caught me a little by surprise, but I don't mind restraining with the smallest one to get the baby kefir grains that can pass through the larger strainers. Overall the 3 piece set seems well made and I have been using them regularly.

Strainers have a Nylon Meshing that seems flimsy and I expectedthe meshing to be stiffer, so not sure if the strainers will be"durable" like the item description says. Not sure if the meshwill hold up to dishwashings and being used with plastic kitchenutensils. Price for the set of 3 strainers is OK, but not great,considering the nylon meshing is flimsy. However, the set camewith 3 nice sizes of strainers.

These nylon strainers have really come in handy. I initially purchased them for use with kefir and kombucha, but I have used them to sift flour and to strain many other things. They are dishwasher safe (top shelf), and I have had no problems with putting them through several cycles.

Very useful for straining kefir. I only use the smallest size, but perhaps will need the other ones? Better than metal strainers, nothing sticks under the rim, nothing can get under it, like the stainless strainer I have.

Having a hard time finding these in stores I was so pleased to find them here. Great little set. I use them all the time for many different things and I love them. They're pretty durable and I love that they have no metal at all. Used these with my mom as a child and was happy to find them now as an adult.

I'm in love with those!! I've been searching for months for strainers in nylon like these without seeing anything else than the ones in stainless steel. I won't be using anything else now, they are the best because they are super easy to wash and even when they are a bit squashed, they always take back their original shape, not like the ones in steel. I recommend those !

A couple small wrinkles where the nylon mesh joins the plastic handle, but they work well and clean easily (though I haven't used this to strain anything greasy yet.) I like the three sizes and use the smallest two most frequently for straining kefir grains.

Havent used this too much but they work just fine for what they are designed.
