I don't have any provision (no duct) for an exhaust fan in my kitchen. What duct can I use with this exhaust fan?

It's an in line fan. Any 8" tubing should fit.

Can this unit be use in a shower as an exhaust fan

I believe the unit is acceptable for bathrooms. As far as I know, the fan needs to be installed at a distance from shower. Check with the manufacturer. They are very responsive.

Is this big enough for a two car garage

Thank you for your question on the model 505. This vertical discharge fan is 200 cfm's. We would recommend taking your square footage x 1.1 which would equal the needed cfm for this area.

Is this model identical to the Nautilus 505-A ?

Yes, The Nautilus 505-A and Broan 505 use the same service parts.
