Drive Like Your Pets Live Here Yard Sign/Slow Down Pets at Play Visual Warning 18"x 24" Double Sided + Stand

I have this stupid neighbor who drives like an idiot around the neighborhood. I bought this sign in hopes of curbing his behavior. It did not work. But that’s not the fault of the sign. The sign does its job. Every morning it faithfully stands on guard, reminding people that animals live in these here parts and we should all drive like we care about them. The sign doesn’t care if it’s raining, or it’s is 95 degrees out or if a hurricane is coming or if there’s been a tornado warning. It doesn’t request paid time off or health insurance. Yet it works hard each and everyday. I wish my other signs were as hard working.

Finally took these out of the package today to put up, hoping it would be easier to get them in the ground after all the rain we had. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The somewhat flimsy metal wirestake legs would not go in easily. I tried using my foot across the horizontal part and all that did was bend it. Now they're not as sturdy and it was harder to get the legs into the corrugated sign. This is the reason I'm giving this item four stars instead of five. After using other tools, the signs are up. The signs themselves are nice and large and easy to see, though I don't know how well you can see them at night, as they don't appear to be reflective.These are supposed to stand up to wind and rain, so only time will tell. I'll update my review, if necessary.

If we had children in the area I would have gotten one for them. But since our area has many people waling dogs and us having a Golden / Yellow Lab mix it wa sthe only way to go. I stuck it in the ground leaning slightly into the windward side and it holds up very well. The White on Blue Print really makes it stand out.

I am happy with the size of the sign and letters. However, because this is basically a "cardboard" sign with what seems a light coating of laminate (/) I don't think it will last long through rainstorms. The metal stakes appear to be somewhat sturdy but because of the frozen ground during the winter I won't be able to put it in the yard until the spring.

Our lakeside community has one two-lane highway through the center of town, which frequently backs up due to the amount of beach traffic. The amount of "cut through traffic" has increased significantly on our residential street which is on a very steep hill. I have noticed that drivers do appear to notice the message, hit their brakes and slow down. With limited resources for law enforcement, it's sometimes up to the local neighborhood to take action.

I own a grooming shop in a neighborhood. We are located next to a church/school but that does not stop people from driving fast. I'm noticing people slowing down to at least read the sign. People walking their dogs in the neighborhood are using the sign as a back round for pictures of their dogs. Love this sign.

Crazy Drivers in my neighborhood who constantly race up and down the street. I couldn't get speed bumps so these signs were the next best thing. They look great and I hope eventually they will be effective.

Buy it now! I live in a corner house at the entrance of our street. Because the entrance has a bend people love to zoom in and out of here. This sign was an instant success at getting drivers to rethink their speed and tight turns which have nearly caused collisions.
