Perfect for 3D Filament Storage – Easy to Use, Long-Lasting, and Rechargeable!
I've been using these Wisedry 50 Gram Silica Gel Packets to keep my 3D printer filament dry, and they are absolutely perfect for the job. I store my spools in Home Depot Husky 5 and 12 Gallon containers, and these desiccant packs maintain a dry environment exceptionally well at a steady 10% humidity. The packets last a long time before needing a recharge, and when they do, reactivating them is quick and easy. Just follow the instructions based on your microwave’s wattage. For most home microwaves, the suggested times work great—just be careful if your Microwave has a higher wattage. I place a paper towel under the packs to catch the moisture and protect the microwave plate.I'm now on my third order—yes, I have that much filament. The indicating beads are helpful, making it easy to know when it’s time for a recharge. If you're storing filament or anything else that needs moisture control, I highly recommend these. Worth every penny!

Perfect For 3D Printing Filament Storage
I have been using these by throwing a pouch in each of my vacuum bags for storing 3D printing filament and they have done an amazing job keeping everything dry. They are easy to dry in the microwave and put right back into use. The ability to reuse them makes them worth the price and the size is ideal for a 1kg spool of filament.

I like using these in our coolers and in my tool boxes. Help eliminate mold in the coolers and rust in the tool boxes.

Keeping my guitars within acceptable RH range
I'm using WiseDry 50-gram packs to keep the moisture level in my classical guitars within the recommended 45% to 55% RH range. I live near the Rhode Island coast. Outdoor relative humidity is often in mid- to high-90% range. Indoor levels tend to stay about 10% lower, but still very unhealthy for my instruments. My guitars hate high humidity worse than I do. They come unglued when it get's too high for too long. I put four 50-gram WiseDry packs in each guitar case (all good quality hard cases but not perfectly air tight) to reduce RH to acceptable levels. Each case has a SensorPush hygrometer that I monitor so I know the RH level for each instrument at all times. I assume the WiseDry packs are absorbing lots of moisture because the indicator beads turn green every seven- to ten-days so I need to give them a ride in the microwave fairly regularly to dry them out and keep them working.Update: After 1-year my WiseDrys are still effective. I use them in my guitar cases during the humid summer months and store them in sealed plastic bags in winter. In the humid seasons I reactivate them in a microwave oven as needed. When the humidity is especially high that may be as frequently as every week or two. They're still doing their job. I put four packets in each guitar case. Humidity in the cases stays around 50% while humidity in my studio hovers around 80%.

Removed condensation from headlight
I recently purchased a pair of matrix LED headlights to upgrade the xenon headlights in my Porsche Cayenne GTS. A few weeks after installation, I noticed a build-up of condensation in one of the headlights. I saw a video online that suggested the condensation could be removed by installing several silica packets inside the headlight housing. I removed one of the covers from the back of the headlight housing and placed 2 of these silica gel packets inside the headlight and sealed it back up. The next day the condensation was gone and a week later, it has not returned. I'm sure these packets have many uses, and this is just one example. Highly recommended.

They really work
I use these to absorb excess humidity in my guitar cases. Been using/reusing them through two summers now. I track the humidity level with a hydrometer in each guitar case. They definitely work.

These things last
These are very durable and will last through many recharging cycles. The color change is definitive so you know when they are working and when they need a recharge. I've bought multiple packs of these using many different locations.

I use these for a lot of things
This is a great product I've been using them for everything. I started with putting them with my SCUBA gear but now I tend to throw a pack with pretty much everything and anything I want to keep dry. Camping gear, electronics, food containers. If my phone falls in water throw this in a plastic bag with the phone and hope for the best... These packs are great and the indicators make it super simple to know when they need a recharge. Throw them j a dehydrator, oven or microwave and boom ready to use again. Great product.
