Works great. Planted 1800 trees in two days using it with absolutely no issues or effort. Definitely worth the investment.

Works well for planting seedlings in the woods
My son and I recently used the dibble for planting seedlings from the Forest Service. I have 2 of them for use on my farm. They work well

The Best Dibble you will find
This is my second dibble. I uses a different brand and it broke very early on in planting seedlings. This one powers through extremely well. I actually found the pointed edge more helpful as it conformed to the shape of the root bases more. Most importantly, the seedlings I planted with the bar are thriving. I presume it did a good job in preventing air pockets. If you need to plant a lot of bare root seedlings, this is the best way.

Good depending on your soil
Handle could be wider, I slipped 20mm bar thru the center for a wider grip. My soil is hard clay and takes a lot of effort. Makes planting quick with softer ground.

Absolutely must have for sapling planting
Turned what would have been an entire afternoon job into a job of an hour or so. 25+ saplings in the ground without hardly any trouble. We've got clay for days, so the sharp tip is a must. Didn't bend, much less break. If you're planting saplings or small trees, this is worth every penny.

Good deal on a good Bar.
I give this product 4 stars because the quality and useability are great. We chose this shorter modle for my wife which is 5' 3" tall it worked great. It was way more than i expected for the cheap price. I reccomend this product to anyone looking for a quality dibble bar for a great price. I prefer the square spade to the pointed one for planting, but thats just my preference.

Works!
Works best in loose soil. Hard clay is not a good idea. For planting seedlings in significant quantities (hundreds or thousands), where machine planting is not practical, a hoe-dad is much easier. This, however, is an excellent dibble -- plenty strong and as easy to use as one can be.
