Hammermill Printer Paper, Premium Color 28 lb Copy Paper, 8.5 x 11-5 Ream (2,500 Sheets) - 100 Bright, Made in the USA, 102450C, White

This is beautiful paper, heavier and smoother than what I've been using for journals. It takes dye easily and consistently on both sides. Ball point pens just flow across it. An ultra fine point Sharpie on un-dyed paper faintly shows when you turn the page over but doesn't distract when you write on that side because it's so pale. I haven't tested it on dyed pages because my first dyed batch is still drying. I expect it will bleed then since hot water weakens the fibers. I haven't used it with a printer. UPDATE: I was wrong in a good way! I tried the Ultra Fine Sharpie on a page dyed light pink--you can't see it at all on the back.

As a small business owner, this is my go-to paper when I need to send a document that communicates "this is serious." It’s definitely overkill for daily copy needs (20lb) and a step up from my standard 24lb daily driver, but it hits the perfect sweet spot between standard printer paper and heavy cardstock. The quality and thickness are top-notch—it's smooth, sturdy, and totally opaque, so ink doesn't bleed through. It holds up durably to folding and mailing without tearing, and it holds ink cleanly without smudging. Plus, at 28lb, it was the best value for money I could find for a full 500-sheet ream after a quick search. If you want to make an impressive, high-end statement on a budget, you can't beat this ream.

Great quality! This Letter-sized paper is nice and thick, giving it a very premium feel. I used it to print important documents that required heavy ink stamping, and the result was excellent. There was no bleeding or smudging at all. Highly recommended!

I'm very happy with this paper. When I'm printing documents for clients I like to use better quality paper than the plain/cheap, and this is perfect! Colors print nicer and overall it has a nice feel.

I’ve used HP Premium 28lb paper for a few years for printing things that matter, and I’ve always been satisfied with the results. I also use 32lb paper when I want to make an impact or have something that feels nice to hold. However, this 28lb paper from Hammermill… it’s very nice! I can only describe the feel of the pages as silky smooth. Almost like plastic, it’s so smooth. I love the feeling it gives my fingers as I flip through printed pages. However, it’s sold as 100 bright white, and I don’t believe it is fully 100. It does have a very light “ivory” tinge to it, compared to my HP Premium paper that is also 100 bright white. It is nicer feeling though. And to me, that matters a bit more. And it’s available unlike the HP paper, which is constantly out of stock. It runs smoothly through my Xerox Phased dye sublimation printer, and my HP laser printer. Text jumps off the page. And your fingers can feel the raised ink and toner of the print, which adds a tactile feel. Highly recommend.

El papel es de un blanco impresionante, las impresiones de fotografias sin ser papel fotografgico son excelentes, puede utilizarse en doble cara sin que se trandfiera la tinta de un lado a otro, ademas el papel esta regulado para proteccion ambiental

La hoja es muy muy bonita, pero para inyeccion de tinta con una hp 8210 no me convencio el resultado. Quiza para una laser a color si.
