The Rode Lavalier GO is a fantastic little lavalier microphone that delivers professional-grade audio in a discreet package. I was particularly drawn to the white version, as it blends seamlessly with light-colored clothing, making it ideal for situations where you want to minimize the visibility of the microphone. I chose this lav mic over the Rode Lav 2 specifically because of the capsule placement. The top-mounted capsule is perfect for hiding under clothing, as it avoids being muffled when pressed against fabric. This makes it a great choice for filmmaking, stage performances, or any situation where you need clear audio without a visible microphone. The sound quality is excellent, capturing clear and natural vocals with minimal background noise. Very, very pleased. I thoroughly researched the model, compared specs, saw all the reviews -- but it's when you yourself actually test them, that's when it either makes it or it doesn't. And man oh man... stellar sound. And I ran it straight to the DSLR, no preamp, nothing like that. I had to turn down microphone sensivity from default 15 to 9 -- was a bit too loud even with the mic placed on my shirt a 10-12 inches from the source (my mouth). So, with mic about mid way down my buttonline, 10... and I was in the yellow speaking relatively low. Raise my voice as if talking to the wall, would hit red. So... yes... it picks up sound! But it clearly isolates sound in that range from the fan in the room, from noise outside an window (open, only a screen in separating me from street noise). Crisp clear voice, neither bassy nor too bright. Just really, really clear "me." I added a cheap 20' extension. No change. Hitting same values, and I would have no way of knowing I had 24' of cord between me and the camera. No induced noise, static, nothing. VERY very pleased. At $58, there may be cheaper ways to produce "indistinguishable-to-me" results. I understand that. And I've seen a couple videos that pooh-poohed a creator's need for something of this quality. But know what else my $58 bought? Peace of mind and confidence in a trusted brand name. I have no regrets at all and am quite pleased this one ONLY cost $58. Waiting on a TRR to TRRS adaptor to come so I can test it on my iPhone. In that case, I KNOW a $19 headset has improved sound over the internal mic. But I imagine this will kick it's cheapo little butt. I'll be back to add an edit with my results.

Running my GoPro with this plugged into the Media Mod case and it works well. The sound wasn't as crisp as I would have preferred (had the GoPro on my windshield and the microphone close to the engine, but the mike didn't capture the enjoy noise as much as I would have preferred.) Not a bad recording, just didn't have the gain that I was expecting.

I use this for streaming on Twitch, and it works great. Clean audio, no pops, no weird issues—just solid, reliable sound. Simple setup, does exactly what I need it to do, and doesn’t make me fight with it mid-stream. That alone earns five stars.

Reliably works so I just use it rather than messing with every other wireless mic I have. It sounds great on interview shows with my DSLR.

Fantastic mike but this is the third one i have had to buy. The cord breaks at the jack. they should do better than this.

Me sorprende no ver una review en español de este producto, así que escribo mi experiencia. El Lavalier Go es una variación del Smartlav+ que ya está cableado a TRS, ahorrándote la necesidad de comprar el adaptador SC3 si lo vas a usar en una grabadora como las ZOOM o en una DSLR (en mi caso, una Lumix FZ300) Cuando me refiero a variación, es que es la misma membrana que el Smartlav+, para lo bueno y para lo malo. Suena muy bien, no requiere de alimentación adicional como pasa con otros Lavalier baratos (como el Boya BY-M1 o el Audio Technica ATR3350), pero lo tienen ecualizado de fábrica con un nivel bastante alto, así que recomendaría reducir la ganacia de la entrada de audio. En mi caso, con la reflex lo he reducido a -8dB y perfecto, pero lo tenéis que ir probando. Por otra parte, el cable solo mide 1.5m como en el Smartlav+, pero que con un alargador como el VC-1 o cualquiera que te vendan en una tienda de música va de lujo. Lo estoy usando con uno de 3m que ya tenía y sin pérdidas. Convenientemente, Rode tiene al mismo el Smartlav+ y SC3 que solo este producto. Si sólo vas a grabar con DSLR o una Zoom, este producto merece la pena y evitas un posible punto de fallo o pérdida de sonido como sería el SC3. Si vas a usar un smartphone como grabadora externa, el Smartlav+ es tu mejor remedio.

クライアントワーク用に購入した。 値段は張るがこういう部分をケチってもしょうがない。 FX３で外で使用したが周りの雑音も結構拾う感じ。設定でどうにかなるのかもしれないが。 音声は中低音の豊かさ含めて満足しているしサ行の刺さりも発生しない。 首元につけるとかなり小さい声で話しても問題ない。 総じて満足です。
