Used suction and strainer on my HF trash pump to water flowers next to pond. Reduced pump outlet to garden hose male and put on garden hose to water the flowers .

Junk
Don’t waste your time the suction hose is junk. In fact, even the discharge hose is junk. You get what you pay for total junk useless the only reason this junk got one star is because they wouldn’t let me post it without hitting a star company oughta be ashamed of themselves

Suction Hose Too Rigid and Cam / Groove Adapters are Junk
First, the green suction hose is way too rigid. It's impossible to straighten out even after leaving it in the sun to warm up. Cam and Groove adapters are junk. They didn't thread very well and the one I put on my discharge side had a horrible leak (due to poor fitting) and got stuck. The adapters may have gotten deformed when closing the cam locks on the hoses. Trying to get it off now so I can return this kit. I wouldn't recommend buying.
