Good value
Whenever I shop online, I go to the worst reviews first to read “the worst I might expect” and I would like to address each concern I had and how reality stacked up to my anxiety.Due to the weight of this item it’s understandable why damage may occur during shipping. While the box had quite a few “bruises” that gave me some concern, when the box was opened, the parts were well protected with styrofoam and layers protected by more foam and plastic. I don’t doubt that some units may not make it to their destinations intact but not a single part was missing or damaged on this order. This unit was well packed. The instruction sheet is the typical consumer product IS. Very few words, lots of numbers and pictures. Of course this is done to make the instructions more universal across markets internationally and cut down on needed translations. Every part had a identifying number sticker. The hardware was packed in a “blister” pack with each compartment identified. Keep the pack in an area that will keep the hardware secure because the pieces are counted to the exact number. Also take care in opening the blister plastic to preserve the part identifiers. The whole thing goes together using only a screwdriver.Last… Construction and quality. At this price point, you are going to get printed vinyl wrapped particle board. It has been my experience with this type of furniture that there are three grades of vinyl wrap. (1)Thin vinyl printed wood patterns, (2)Thick vinyl with printed wood patterns and (3)thick embossed printed vinyl, with the third option being closer to simulating real wood. The print quality is good and on thick vinyl but is NOT embossed thus, from close distances, this is obviously not real wood however from a distance, its appearance is good. Structurally it is sound. The top is rated at 240lbs, the second row shelves are rated at 20lbs each compartment and each compartment on the bottom shelf is rated at 40lbs. Most 65inch TVs are less than 50lbs so that leaves a lot of room for additional “stuff”.If I had one annoyance it would be the “sliding doors”. They’re a little noisy but that’s not the annoyance. The number of times I’ve grabbed the handles and attempted to “pull” the doors open is embarrassing. The doors will “yank” off in your hand and you will have to re-insert them but that’s not the “end all”. They easily reattach because the top of the doors hook over a tube and the bottom have spring-loaded pins. By the third day, I’m not doing that anymore.Overall, I’m pleased. It’s not a budget buster and very serviceable and attractive. Would I recommend it? Yes. I assembled it solo in a little over two hours and of course I had distractions.

looked for a longgg time...
and i'm so happy with this purchase. price was very good. assembly was logical. parts were all very well labeled and packed carefully. instructions were alright, like most assembly instructions. you need to "study" the pages to get a sense of what goes where. very nice, solid piece of furniture. you won't regret getting this...

A very good value, but requires some assembly skill.
Assembly: First the major downside, there wasn't any instructions in the box. Although I'm sure I could of contacted the seller and gotten them, for me, as someone who's experienced in assembling furniture like this it wasn't a big deal. Assembly went OK however a couple of the pieces take a bit for convincing to fit into place and in this area the low price is obvious. In addition when you hold some of the pieces in your hand you realize how cheap they are. The doors for example feel like they are made out of cardboard.Functionality: Although the boards are somewhat low quality, once everything is together the unit looks good and is fairly sturdy. The sliding doors are nice to hide the stuff behind them but for me, I have older game systems on the sides so the ability to leave the door open while they are in use and not risk someone breaking it (compared to a regular door) is quite nice. The doors slide nicely and the shelves are more then adequate for most items. Although the center area is wide enough for things like my AV receiver, the unit is unfortunately too narrow in the depth department once cables are connected to the back requiring me to cut a hole in the back of the unit for the receiver to stick out of. If the until was just an inch wider this wouldn't be an issue but alas, it is. Also the design for the cable hole is idiotic as it's high up and rather large making many of the cables visible. I ended up cutting a slot further down for most of the cables to go through (in addition to the massive cutout I made for the receiver). The cable hole is effectively useless due to where they put it. My other major usability complaint is that the sides don't come with any cable cutouts however with how bad the main hole is, I'm not sure this is really a negative. Conclusion: Yes the assembly wasn't the easiest and some modification was required, however for the price, once assembled, this unit is fantastic. It looks much more expensive then it really is and does a great job from a functionality perspective for someone with a lot of devices compared to much more expensive stands on the market. As long as you know what is required for assembly and possible modification, it's a great option and one of the only stands with a height less then 24 inches.

Love it- sturdy and classy !
This is just perfect- looks beautiful and feels sturdy. The barn doors are awesome. I fit it up in about an hour- all pieces are numbered so just be sure to pay close attention to the diagram. My husband has a bad hand so he couldn’t assist and I was able to do it on my own. Only need a phillips head screwdriver to put together. On issue is that the barn doors don’t slide smoothly when trying to move them to the end or back to the middle. Needs to lift/raise the doors slightly over the notch on the bar.

Amazing tv stand
The tv stand is perfect for my living space. Nothing was broken or chipped because the packaging was amazing, there was foam on every level between pieces and all around the corner. The instructions were clear and only took me 1hr to build. For reference I have a 65” tv and it fits perfectly.
