Instant Pot Vortex XL 6 Qt 4-in-1 Air Fryer, Black

I use this air fryer so much now that I have my first one. I was super glad I read the reviews as they mentioned a plastic smell when you first run it. Some people recommended running it without food a few cycles and I sure am glad I did. In my opinion it is a MUST that you run it about 4-5 cycles without food and be prepared for the area to smell like overpowered plastic for a while. It would probably been better if I sprayed the tray with cooking oil in retrospect. It took about two days for the plastic smell to go away in the room itself but did not affect the food smell or taste at all when I finally cooked with it. The basket has a tray with silicone bits that keep it in place. These silicone bits can be removed for cleaning which was glad to see. I started using parchment liners which makes clean up easier but it was pretty easy to clean already. Having this air fryer makes my microwave lonely I think, ha! I've used it to cook entire meals down to quick crisp touch up of french fries. I believe the only thing I don't like is all the beeping it does. It beeps for warm up which is not optional and it beeps half way through cooking for flipping. The warm up process takes about 2-3 minutes. I wish there was a setting to turn off beeping but its not a deal breaker of course. The size is great as well. It's about the size of a small bucket. It sits next to my Keurig like I have two little star wars drones working for me, lol. I am really glad I got this one as my first air fryer!

This works flawlessly! Great size for the price. If you have limited counter space, you may want something smaller. Not sure if I won or lost the ongoing battle of kitchen counter space, but do recommend this item. Great non-stick coating, easy to clean, looks great with just one dial on the face.

9-2026 I purchased this for my son. He claims it's the best kitchen appliance I've bought for him. He has had it about a month now and is having fun cooking different things in it. I think his favorites are baked potatoes and chicken. He has also cooked steak in it and says its good but on the grill is much better.

We use this regularly, love it, so fast heating up, air frying to perfection Bakes to perfection. Reheats with a crunch No heating the kitchen up with the big oven and it’s way faster. Get one you will not be disappointed

I purchased the Insta pot vortex XL 6 qt, approximately one month ago and have used it nearly every day since. First, my favorite things, are the nice size of the basket and ease of cleaning. It is much easier to clean than my own Ninja. So far it has cooked everything evenly and very well. I do not think the noise is a problem at all, and I could barely hear it. One slight annoyance is the automatic preheat function, which I don’t really care for, but I can get past it. The major complaint I have is the noxious odor that it emits when in use. At first, when I read the reviews, I thought it was just people who had purchased it complaining about any and everything, but let me tell you, the smell is a very real thing, and for some people, they’re not going to be able to get past it. I washed it, and cleaned it with vinegar and baking soda to see if it would help. It did not really help very much until after about two weeks of use. The smell really began to dissipate, but never went away, and I used it tonight and noticed that the smell is still there. It is almost a toxic chemical, plastic, metal smell that is very apparent. One friend suggested I send it back, that he would not be able to stand it, however, I decided to keep it, because I like the way it cooks. I like the way it looks, and I like the footprint on the counter much better than my old ninja. If you can get beyond the smell, something that Insta pot should really take a look at and see if they can eliminate, I would say it’s a solid purchase.

This was a great housewarming gift for my friend. She absolutely loves the air fryer and has been enjoying using it in her new home! She said it is the wonderful gift!

We debated buying this at first because we have limited space in our apartment but it was SO worth it. We use it all the time. It's much easier than heating up the oven, especially for so few people, and it heats up everything we need. We use it for cooking meals and for snacks, like french fries. I bought this one year ago and it's still going strong.

The fact that I can make things while people are sleeping at different times and it not make a sound is fantastic.

It doesn’t smell like burning plastic like I’ve read and heard that other brands can. It’s my first air fryer and I’ve had zero issues. Love the way it cooks French fries. Cleans like a dream. Made homemade buns and they were perfect and faster than my toaster oven. Not noisy. Fits on my counter under my upper cabinets even though it’s a large unit. Finger prints on the digital display can be wiped of with a non abrasive cloth and non abrasive cleaner if needed I can tell that it could be easily permanently marked up if you use anything other than a soft cloth and the buttons you use the most can get a somewhat permanent print on them so I’d recommend wiping the area after each use. Very attractive putter material. Would recommend.

Lamento no tener mas fotos, llego ayer, hicimos papas a la francesa, y quedaron igual que fritas, las metimos más tiempo y salieron mega crujientes. Después metidos rodajas delgadas de papá y de igual forma deliciosas, luego rodajas de manzana y súper bien, es una opción fit para comer cosas crujientes. Nota: si no le pones aceite, crujen pero la apariencia es más reseca, y con un pelín de aceite salen idénticas las sumergidas. También te aconsejo a la mitad del tiempo abrir y mover para que se frian uniformemente. En conclusión, es una maravilla, yo no sentí olor a plástico quemado como muchísima dicen y tampoco me pareció muy ruidosa. Comprala¡¡ este tamaño (6 quartos) es súper amplio.

Es muy sencilla de usar. Lo diferente a las demás es que te avisa cuando tienes que voltear la comida, aunque las demás digan que no. En todas las freidoras se tiene que hacer para garantizar el mejor resultado. El diseño es más bonito que como se ve en la imagen. Es de las que tiene mayor capacidad a buen precio. La recomiendo.
