This stuff really works! My son got burnt and the redness wouldn’t go away after using silicone scarAway and scar sheets. But after a week of using bicorneum the redness is significantly less. The texture has also improved. With 2 kids I have tried all kinds of different scar products over the years and while I have found silicone to work the best this product is on another level. I can confidently say this is the best I’ve found.

Product has been fantastic, for the protection, discoloration, skin texture and scaring. Only been using for 2 days and have significant change in color and skin texture. Photos are of first 24hrs. Skin texture seemed to smooth / softened and darker reds browns lightened - USED only on surrounding area of open wound - did Not put directly in or on open center wound. This is under the chin - healing from an intense medical skin treatment.

Worth Trying for Scar Care (Give It Time!) I tried Biocorneum Advanced Scar Treatment with SPF 30 to help soften and fade a scar, and overall it’s been a solid addition to my skincare routine. This gel uses medical‑grade silicone plus SPF 30 to protect and treat the scar area — the silicone helps create a barrier that supports healing and smoothing over time, while the SPF helps prevent the scar from getting darker in the sun.  The texture is lightweight and dries fairly quickly, which makes it easy to use daily without feeling sticky or heavy, and it works under makeup or sunscreen if you want a seamless routine.  After consistent use over several weeks, I noticed the scar looked a bit lighter and smoother — it definitely takes patience, but I feel like it’s helping. Some people see bigger changes depending on scar age and type, but following the twice‑daily routine is key.  Cons: it’s on the pricier side, and results aren’t instant — you’ll want to stick with it for a couple months to really judge improvement.  Bottom line: Good derm‑grade scar gel that feels nice to wear and does help fade and flatten scars with consistent use. 👍

This product is excellent and really does work but read the monogram carefully and for goodness sakes do not get it into your eyes. Even just a little bit will burn for hours even after it has been rinsed out!

I cannot share an outcome on whether or not this cream was effective. I had surgery 8/20 and bought this in advance to use on the scars once cleared. I also have used scar tape; however, I have only been able to use this cream probably less than 10 times and today I ran out. The outside bottle is clearly larger than the inner canister and there’s no way to see how much is in there or if you’re getting low. For $75, I expected to get many more uses out of it as I was using it sparingly as it was. Very disappointed in the cost and not able to quantitatively assess whether it was worth the cost as there was not enough.

Extremely expensive and a very small bottle. I live in Canada so I had to pay in Canadian dollars which added to the cost. It was suppose to last 3 months and it only lasted 3 weeks and I was very careful when applying it. No change in scar either. Very disappointed 😭
