YOU'RE IN GOOD HANDS.
This mother ROCKS! I am so impressed with this motherboard that I honestly dont know what to do with myself... I have a AMD 9590 cpu with Corsairs 16 GB DDR3 @ 1866 that has 9.9.9.24 latency... and as soon as I assembled all my parts, I saw firsthand what 4.7GHz speed looks like! Installing win pro on a 256GB crucial SATA SSD Literally took just a few moments, less than 10 minutes rounding upwards. The software suite bundled in the bios is AWESOME for someone who wants to oc their system for the first time. It also has advanced features if you are an oc head and are knowledgeable. It looks great, functions greater, and is simple to install. I even had a technical question about this board and ASRock responded timely and WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ANSWER MY INQUIRY.I'd recommend this motherboard to everyone who is AMD CPU BOUND!

Good board, works well as a white box vSphere host
Good quality board. Supported by vSphere 6 U1 (although the onboard NIC needed a driver update before full Gb speeds were achieved). Single PCI slot seems rather useless (fortunately I have an old PCI VGA card that I am using for the vSphere host itself).vSphere Notes:* NIC supported out of the box but needed driver updates to reach full performance* AMD SATA controller supported out of the box* Secondary SATA controller required drivers before vSphere would see it* IOMMU fully supported, all but the USB 2.0 controllers and onboard audio can be passed through (USB 3.0 controllers can be passed through)* There are 2 USB 3.0 controllers, one runs the 4 ports on the back panel the other runs the 2 internal headers (4 ports).* Make sure to disable SATA IDE functions on the AMD SATA controller if you want the SATA5 and SATA6 ports to function in AHCI mode (which is required if you want to use hot swapping or if you are passing the AMD SATA controller though to a VM).1 Star was lost due to several minor annoyances, there was no one single issue to blame. Things like less than ideal placements of headers, not exposing the USB 2.0 or audio devices via PCI/PCIe buses. Unclear terminology in the UEFI settings/manual on various options (e.g. I'm still not sure if I can use the secondary SATA7-8 ports and the eSATA ports without causing issues and the behavior of the SATA IDE mode was rather confusing until you realize what it is actually doing and it is on by default). Inclusion of a PCI slot. Again none of these alone was worth a star but collectively they indicate that there is room for improvement.

Great board for fx 9590
I don't often do reviews unless I can contribute something with it. This board is excellent. It's well made. Has great usb 3 count. It's optional case usb slot is neat if you need it. But most importantly it handles my Fx 9590 processor with no issues whatsoever. Important to note though, if you're running this processor and this board that you need a good liquid cooler and a great power supply. I'm running with h100i and a 1000 watt psu. Stays very cool. A lot of people are searching for the right board for this processor and this is it.

absolutely wonderful... until it exploded like the rest...
I remember this board. it was great for a year and a half. then the MOSFET exploded sequentially. no, not short circuit. full on detonation in such a fashion that I nearly had a heart attack. so I stupidly bought another. same thing... to the day a year and a half later. so I came here and bought another cause surely twice in a row has to be a fluke right? nope. happened again. keep in mind this is still using the same CPU, RAM and peripherals. the board protected the rest of what was connected to it!I'd complain but of all the 990fx boards I've tried these never got to the point where BGA failures, bios corruption and weird start up freezes could ever occur.if you can stand the heart attack inducing explosive deconstruction and don't live near people who might call the cops or gunshot snooping microphone arrays then this board can't be beat. it has one type of failure and it wont wreck your equipment when it goes. honestly I'm kind of sad I never got into board repair until this year. it probably was repairable as I've seen complete screw ups manage to replace mosfets easily.the board honestly could have done with a second bank of capacitors/mosfets and a better cooler but looking back I feel like it was a good board even if every single one did go off in the most terrifying fashion.I've endured years of suffering all because I shortsightedly switched to asus.
