Timing Kit for Land Rover 3.0 5.0 Engine

It was time to replace the timing chains on my engine, and I’m glad this kit exists. It offers great value for the quality and includes everything needed to get the job done. Overall, the tools were durable and fit all the required engine components perfectly. The only issue I ran into was a poor casting on the alignment pin for the vacuum pump alignment tool, which I ended up replacing. Aside from that minor hiccup, the kit performed exactly as expected and held up well throughout the job.

Have a customer with FIVE land rovers. One of which was rattling quite badly. I've been telling him it needs a timing chain for three years. He finally decided to do it. This tool did its job.

I used it and it fits . Only problem I had for my 2012 LR4 is the back corner on driver side I had to improvise using my own bolt . But it worked with no engine damage and no check engine light . You can use this tool over again . Does not seem to be a one time use if you handle it properly .

This worked perfectly for rebuilding an f type 3.0 v6. Make sure the cam lobe is facing the right way or you won't be able to get the timing to align.

J'ai acheté cet outil pour remonter un V6 Jaguar, il y a pas mal de points à améliorer: - l'outil de réglage de pompe à carburant ne s'insère pas correctement (ni côté v8, ni côté v6) - il ne permet pas de positionner la chaine de pompe selon la procédure constructeur lorsque le volant est bloqué au TDC (de toute façon il n'y a pas besoin d'outil pour régler cet arbre si on a une chaine avec des maillons colorés) - l'outil de blocage des dents du volant moteur ne peut pas s'installer de manière perpendiculaire aux dents, quel que soit le sens dans lequel on positionne le support acier. Il peut s'installer mais "en diagonale" - les outils de verrouillage des arbres à came sont imprécis, les plaques de verrouillage se mettent de travers et laissent un peu de jeu dans les arbres (plaques pas assez épaisses et filetage trop grossier) - il manque des vis pour tenir l'outil de réglage des arbres à came, car les vis qui tiennent normalement les actionneurs VVT sont trop longues et trop larges, on ne peut plus insérer de rallonge de clé si on utilise ces vis. Donc c'est globalement utile, mais manque de précision.
