Gift for 4 years old boy birthday. He loved it was outside hurting bugs and looking at birds and planes as soon as he opened it. Much better quality then I expected for the price. Will buy again for another kid.

The gear is great. My daughter loves it but the compass didn't work right from the start. It is hard to teach her how to use a compass when it can't show us the proper north.

This was a perfect gift for my nephews. Apparently they love catching insects and showing them to mom and dad! Their discovery of the whistle was a bonus; from an uncles point of view.

It's a kid's toy, so I was expecting it to be very low quality, but the quality of the individual items was actually pretty alright. The 3 year old LOVED it. He was very excited it came with a bug to "hunt".
