Lea and Perrins Sauce, (Pack of 2)

This is the one you want. The other varieties they sell have all sorts of cheap fillers. Not this one. It tastes right and has great flavor!

Glad Amazon has it. It's not as sweet as I remember it. Loved the Lea & Perrins original.

Straight out I'm going to say this has been my favorite steak sauce since I was a baby. So for over 30 years and once it was available to find in every store you could possibly go into. Yet for some reason for the last ten years its been harder and harder to find.Last place I was able to find it was in Safeway and that comes to the problem of price with buying from these sellers on amazon where as IF they have it in stock in Safeway I'm paying around 3 dollars a bottle.However I was probably only able to find it in safeway once every few months otherwise it was sold out everytime I went.But this isn't just any steak sauce for me, IT IS MY STEAK SAUCE. I can't think of having steak without this sauce. So my fear is eventually it will go away completely. You need to get the glass bottles to have sugar instead of HFCS and while people like to point to Heinz 57 saying it taste similar I don't agree to that and think nothing else compares.

While it's true that a great steak doesn't need any steak sauce, this is the best one ever made. And here's a thought, just because it says steak sauce on the label doesn't mean you only have to use it on steak; it's great on chicken, fish, and pork. Put some in your chili, on a burrito, over an omelette, add it to a marinade or some baked beans. Open your mind and let your imagination run wild! Heck, put it on a hot dog! Seriously, it's better than A1 which would be my number two pick if you're looking for some sort of comparison.

My family LOVES this steak sauce. Used to be able to find in store but since covid so many products seem to be either disappeared or are never in stock. This item is one of those. I grew up using this steak sauce so any other just doesn't taste right to me. Very tasty and so happy to find it here on Amazon.

This is our 2nd order of this stuff and it keeps on delivering great taste and quality. Its the best. You cant seem to buy this stuff anywhere so I tried it from Amazon and it tastes just like I remember. I know I dont need steak sauce on a good steak but the taste of this stuff just makes me happy. Its a little thick and I am not sure if it is because it has sat for a while but it does the job.

I use this product as one of my seasoning before cooking ingredients. It is a much better price when I can find it locally and I prefer buying one or two bottles at a time. But with all the supply chain problems I have not been able to find it locally for awhile. It became worth it to me to order this 3 bottle pack. I am happy that the expiration dates are far enough out that it will work out well to have bought extra.
