Can you buy another charging wire for them?

many other charging wires fit. Any with micro usb to usb connectors I think

Are they good for receiving calls?

Yes, these earbuds have excellent call, track, and microphone control.

How is the feedback during phone calls, does it pick up a lot of background noise?

background noise is absolutely isolated and you are as deaf to outside sounds...

Can you use one and have one on charge and not lose sound. as lot of time only can have one in at a time for work.

You can but I have found out you can only use the left one and charge the right. As soon as you put the left in the case it disconnects and powers off.
