The Whole-Life Confession: Four Weeks of Awakening to Mercy, Healing and Peace

I was blessed enough to do this program with a local parish and I read my confession yesterday. The method outlined in this book helps you to see the patterns and underlying dynamics in your patterns of sin in a way that I had never experienced before and which was truly enlightening. Yesterday's confession was deep, not just a list of sins but a blessed encounter with Christ, Our Savior. I am so thankful to Fr. Bill for writing this book and sharing it with us. I would recommend this 28 day encounter with Christ to everyone. Be mindful of doing the tasks ONE day at a time and not reading ahead. Trust the process. I have never felt so blessed in my confession before and truly believe that things will be different going forward. (They already are!)

This book is a wonderful experience in prayer and taking the steps on the path to a personal relationship with our Lord

We are currently using this book in my parish as a Lenten exercise. It is a helpful and deeply personal journey into self understanding, forgiveness and mercy. For Catholics it will change the practice of confession into a gateway to healing, freedom and mercy. Rather than "reading" this book, it should be a daily process of following each exercise. It's an invitation to a fuller life!
