The two inside coils are 25 feet of 3/8" and the outside coil is 25 feet of 1/2" copper tubing. The triple coil design lets you cool the hot wort from the inside to the out. The 1/2" is the inlet side and the 3/8" is the outlet side. The increase pressure from a drop of 1/2" to 3/8" will decresse the amount of time you spend chilling your wort. This chiler can be used with batches that range from 5 - 15 gallons.
