Such an Amazing Manga Series!
I love the manga series, Ceres. It is very action packed and full of fun characters, romance, drama, and paranormal fun. Maybe some spoilers about romances after this point. This particular series does have some uncomfortable material for readers, as the twin brother does become possessed by his past life and falls in love with his twin sister. The art work is amazing, Yuu Watase is a fantastic artiest. The main romance isn't with the brother - it is actually a love triangle. The triangle is between the man the female lead, Aya loves - Toya. Toya is an assassin who lost his memory and originally was hired to kill her. He is loving, but also rough around the edges. The second member is Yuki, her best friend. Yuki saved her and trained her - however she doesn't love him the way she loves Toya and Yuki is passionately in love with her.The paranormal part of the story-line is really clever. I enjoy the celestial maiden aspect, and often this series I re-read for inspiration in the paranormal genre myself. I suggest this book because it is re-read worthy.

Ceres
Yuu Watase is an amazing storyteller and draws some gorgeous artwork! She is one of my favorite manga authors and I love everything she has done. The characters in Ceres are amazing and imaginative and extremely easy to relate to. She is able to capture the character's emotions amazingly with a realistic outlook on life. Aya's reaction to finding out about her supernatural powers was real and her ongoing fight through all of her problems strikes the reader as something that would ring true. My favorite character was Touya, hot and mysterious with a little bit of attitude thrown in. The series has gory moments and is dark but everything about life is not always peachy as Yuu Watase truthfully is able to point out.Note: this review is about volumes 1-14 .

One of My Favorites (A bit of a spoiler, warning)
Another uniquely Yuu Watase manga.Ten was another one, like 5, where everything happens at once, but it is a better one to leave off on if you have too.Poor Aya is alienated, the people in school think she is a slut because of Aki, and to keep Yuhi safe she has to be terribly mean to him. She is really alone with Shurro and Chidori gone. But it isn't all bad Toya realizes, again, it doesn't matter that he doesn't remember Aya a part of his heart does and that is enough. Aya saves Toya by destroying the hypnosis machine that took Toya's memories, so he remebers her. He comes to save her and Alec helps them both to make an escape.Alec poor thing felt bad about what he did to Toya and couldn't do that to Aya. He is so cute isn't he.This one at the end is like an action movie. The illustrations are just gorgeous. I am waiting for 11.
