Rise Breakfast Whey Protein Bars Almond Honey, 18g Protein, 2.01 oz (12 Pack)

I was looking for a protein bar with more than 12 grams of whey protein and the fewest ingredients. These have 18 grams of whey protein and only 3 ingredients. Honey, almonds, and whey protein. Plus, they taste good.

These protein bars are great as they have limited, only three, ingredients with all of them easily pronounced. You know what's in them. They are tasty and chewy although as a Type 1 diabetic they did spike my blood sugar so be aware. I thought they are a good value for money.

These are only hard if kept in fridge because they are emulsified into a nut butter, with same aprox. % fat as peanuts, so we must trust it does not contain them. I did not get very nauseated from this like I do with peanuts, but I did a little. Almonds are blander and this taste fits. Also, they are very nutritious.

This is more of a question rather than a review. My first order of this protein bar was great. The product tasted good and good quality natural ingredient, a big plus!, rather than other protein bars with artificial sweetener. So I ordered it again. When I opened one to eat from this 2nd order. I was surprised to see how soft the bar was rather than firm to touch and bite and chewy. The color was also paler. I still ate it since it smelled & tasted normal but had a slightly upset stomach the next day. I still like the quality of the ingredients but would like to know what is the normal texture? Not sure if it’s because of the heat we’ve been having or a defective lot. Amazon quickly refunded by the way. I still will give it a 4 star total, 5 for the first one & 3 for the second order.

This is one of the cleanest protein bars and now I need that but they’re delicious. I try the chocolate and the almonds both of them great tasting. And yes, I will buy them again thank you

Less quality ingredients disguised with a new wrapper, please consider this review and photos: You get lesser quality ingredients! The “new bars” have less protein, more salt, more sugar, and a higher fat %/DV as add ins, so disappointed RISE has shifted into the propaganda/content shift of processed foods with more addictive ingredients. The bar tasted just fine as it was. Very disappointed with the swap of ingredient content here! When advertising “new look…” companies will change quantities and ingredients, so please look out for you; they will not. While the calories overall remain the same 280, they are now putting in less protein and more sugar/sodium. Vegan protein bars offer 15-18g at this high of calories and a quality animal protein bar should be offering 20-25g at this calorie count. Sugar and sodium are addicting and inexpensive for companies compared to protein. The RISE bars now have more preservative products that are cheaper than protein and yet the bars remain the same if not higher in costs to us, the consumers. These bars do not cost any less with the “new look” however, the manufacture is surely saving money. You now get 2g less protein (20g Vs 18g) and MORE of what we do not need in our diets…sodium is now 40mg Vs 20 (DOUBLE!!) more added sugar, 15g Vs 13g and the fat percentage increased, from 21% DV to 25%. This is a protein bar I have enjoyed for years and now, at the same or higher price you are getting less of the ingredient driving us to PROTEIN bars.

2 and half stars for me Guv. Appreciate the protein content at about 30% of RDA. Really like that there are three ingredients. All that is fantastic. Honey is already sweet, you don't need lots of it to sweeten. What is the point of 30% RDA of added sugars in one bar? It's the protein I want, not sugar. As is I can't stand the sweet taste unless I've put it in the freezer and even then will only eat half of one because of sugar content. I hope this company will take this as constructive feedback, sugar is sugar including honey! Reduce the amount of honey/ sugar you put in these (or a version of these) and they would be perfection

First off, of the total of 2 orders of RiseBar almond protein bars that I've had, I have not had 1 dry or old tasting bar at all. I've been looking for a protein bar that is really healthy, clean and doesn't taste like saw dust for awhile now. I've tried various ones at health food stores including main stream health bars like Cliff and quest, I've gotten assortment packs in order to try out different companies flavors, by the way I highly recommend doing this, you never know what the taste is going to be with a protein bar. Always good to have variety to choose from. I got the assortment Risebar pack with the protein almond, the coconut energy, and assorted nut energy bar, both of the last two were actually kinda gross, so I would not recommend them. Now what this bar fulfills is important to me, I am one of those people who has those spells of walking around and having no idea what I'm hungry for, but I still want to ravenously eat things. This is a very bad thing to have when trying to eat healthy. Anyways, so that and a desire to start building muscle is why I started looking into various protein bars. This one hands down has fulfilled that insatiable hunger that I get sometimes, and it also(to me and everyone I have had try it, like 7 people) tastes pretty dang good. I'm not huge into eating the same foods over and over again, but I have to say TRY this once if you are someone who can never get full and just test it, you will soon learn what I'm talking about. In conclusion, I like that this bar is so simple, 3 ingredients is pretty simple for today's standards, and that helps me understand mentally exactly what I'm putting in my body. I love these bars, if they stay the way they are I will be buying them for a long time into the future. Hope this helps, and as always, have a nice HEALTHY day!

Très bon goût et nourrissant. Texture assez dense, on est loin des barres tendres de granola LOL. Je les recommande, j'apprécie qu'elles soient naturelles, simples et contiennent peu d'ingrédients.

Each only has a small number of natural ingredients. It is very difficult to find anything comparable. It is very disappointing that Amazon Canada has decided to block further sales due to product labeling issues (lack of French).

I have only tried two protein bars so far, both highly touted by consumers. The rise bars are terrible. Very little flavour.. like eating putty. The others were garden of Life peanut butter. These are a much better option.... Although slightly more expensive. Surprised there aren't better options out there.
