This rice is magic. I have been making various curries lately and this rice ups the game in the taste department. I use vegetable or chicken stock instead of water and a bit of butter and it’s the tastiest rice I have made. Good enough for company. Do rinse it a bit before cooking. I don’t enjoy white rice, but this is so different! Healthy and flavorful!

Because of kidney disease, I have had to stop using foods with high acid content. Did you know that white rice is high acid? I didn't until now. Black and brown rice, though, are neutral. And frankly, they taste better. I have used many other Yupik products and am equally pleased with this mix of rices. Yupik always has the freshest and most reasonably priced products. This rice mix cooks up perfectly in our rice cooker on the Brown Rice setting.

It cooks like brown/white rice and tastes like regular rice. The only thing different is the color.

Fantastic race! I had never eaten black rice before and it does turn the rice dark, but I add black beans and lentils to it and it makes a wonderful meal

Tastes good. Down side is there are no cooking instructions.

I am a rice lover. A bit pricey but it's worth the money. Cooking is a bit tricky at first if you prefer a particular texture. The quality is very good.

It is not fully black rice. It is mixed with other wild rice
