Best value overall
I’ve used Joyce Chen’s, Macs, OXO, a slew of fancier scissors, and these are the best overall by far. They’re sturdy and small enough for breaking down lobsters or fish bones, and stay sharp enough for twine, tape, and paper. The blades are sturdy and thick with a wide bevel that doesn’t lose its edge as quickly as othersThe rubber handle is softer and more grippy than other shears. I have large-ish hands and never had a problem with fatigue

Very Good Cooking Scissors
I use the cooking scissors almost daily. They are light weight and sharp. Unlike a previous purchase, they did not tarnish after the first wash. I'm thinking about getting a second pair for a friend. You can't go wrong with these scissors.

The BEST for chefs
Or anyone who needs a solid, sharp pair of scissors. I have been professionally working in a kitchen for about 15 years and these are the best ALL AROUND tool you can buy. Now, I have strayed to Joyce Chens (Helen Chens mother) a few times but these are superior. The handles are a soft, thicker material and the blades are much sharper and thicker as well. These are on the short list of crucial equipment for a cook to get things done.Pros:Sharp and stay sharp after repeated useComfortable. Will not fatigue your hand after extended use. They're a bright orange, easy to identify and pick out of your fellow cooks equipment tray(they WILL try to steal these haha)Durable. Hold up to just about anything.Value. They're cheaper than high end snips and perform just as wellCons:They're short. This a preference IMO but they are not suited for EVERYTHING

Just right
Snips are needed when the need to snip small herbs are what's needed! :) Seriously, though, these snips are the perfect size for basil, certainly rosemary, and other herbs that need a little bit of focused snipping for a recipe. Great purchase! They've worked wonderfully for me.

Love these scissors
Love these scissors, we ended up buying a second pair because we liked these so much. The big handles are really nice, and our kids like using them, they are easier for their hands, while still having a smaller scissors. One pair stays in the kitchen, nice for cutting grape stems, herbs, etc, the other is in the crafting area for the kids.

Great little kitchen scissors
I had had a pair for probably 15 years the were similar (Joyce Chen) that I loved. They can’t be sharpened any more so I bought these. (They were more reasonably priced.) Work very well and I really like the padding in the handles. Would definitely buy again.

Disappointing sheath and blade
The sheath / scabbard often won't accept the blade, unless it's wiggled in a certain way. The blade is poor quality. It is a bad value for the money. Buy something else.

The stainless steel blade is not as well polished as the Joyce Chen but the cutting action does feel just as nice if not better than the Joyce Chen scissors
Compared to the Joyce Chen (Helen Chen's Mother's brand) Kitchen Scissors:The Helen Chen pair has a larger grip area, wider blades, also features a soft outer grip design. The stainless steel blade is not as well polished as the Joyce Chen but the cutting action does feel just as nice if not better than the Joyce Chen scissors. The length of the blades are the same as Joyce Chen Scissors.
