Handy Portable Guitar Stand
This is a handy, sturdy, portable stand that is compact and easy to setup. I read a review where someone said theirs broke when opening it. All I can say is that person must have tried to open it wrong and then forced it. You have to unfold the pieces in a certain order that is very obvious and intuitive even if you don’t read the simple, clear instructions provided. If it doesn’t open easily, don’t force it—you’re doing it wrong. It opens very smoothly and easily when you do it right. The plastic isn’t as pretty as the wood version, but it’s much less expensive and I think reasonably priced. As a portable stand, I don’t need the fancy wood version. My only knock is that it is misleadingly advertised that it will fit in the head section of most guitar cases. It didn’t fit in my OM case by a pretty good bit, so I doubt it would fit in a dreadnought case either. Perhaps better to say it might fit in SOME guitar cases. This is no big deal however because I usually carry my guitar books in a tote and just throw it in there.

A very clever guitar stand- stable and extremely portable!
I've avoided buying a guitar stand for years simply because they added another piece to schlep around the city that would not fit in my equipment bag. Since I could keep my guitar in its case between sets, the next piece I carried around in addition to the guitar, amp and equipment bag with effects, cables, etc. was my small amplifier stand or a music stand if I needed one. When I saw the CooperStand I was intrigued because it seemed to fold up small enough to fit into my equipment bag and purported to be very stable. I'm glad I took a chance and bought one! The design is ingenious, creating a very stable stand that does indeed fold to a very small size, while being very easy to fold and unfold. This is truly an excellent product, and I play to buy a couple more to use at home.

Well thought-out stand, very compact, needs one little tweak to be perfect
The Duro Pro stand works very well. Has the lowest profile of any stand I've ever used, very easy to set up and fold up, and does hold your guitar or bass securely. The one thing that would make it perfect is a slightly deeper slot to stand electric guitars in it. For acoustic guitars, it's very safe as far as I'm concerned. For electrics, it's pretty safe, but the shallow slot for them doesn't give much room for error and accidents can happen. I wouldn't use one at a punk rock or metal gig, but if there's low traffic onstage, it should be fine provided you park it properly. But it could really be something with a deeper electric slot.

Easy to carry. Not as sturdy as I’d like
My guitar is not stable on this stand compared to regular sized stands. Especially when there’s a guitar cord plugged in. The guitar sits too close to the ground and topples over too easily.Very convenient due to size and weight.

Great product
I had purchased 4 of the wood version of this guitar stand. They are great looking but a bit delicate and my husband is a tad bit rough on things. I would not recommend using the wood version for performances on stage. BUT the Ecco-G stand are super!!Great design, small footprint, fits in the guitar case. Which is great as it's that much less to haul to a gig as it's in the case and ready for use. Plus it looks great and really showcases the guitars nicely. Very secure, the center of gravity prevents them from falling over it accidentally bumped.I would also like to add that I originally came across the wood version at the Woodstock Luthiers show and both my husband and I were immediately sold on the product. Cooperstand is a great company to deal with direct as well.

Good compact stand.
This is a clever and rather stable stand. Good product, and rather nice looking! So compact. Somewhere I read it was the size of a headstock - no way (even larger than a D'Angelico!) but easily fit in a fender case box with other accessories. I also bought the wooden one.

Great stand !!
I was looking for a compact stand that i could fold away in my gig bag and this stand fits the bill perfectly. Take it out when i need it and fold it away when i don't. Great for when i go jam with mates and or at home. Good quality and reasonably solid and rubber contact points are soft and grip the guitar really well.keeps the guitar stable for what it is. Guitar doesn't dislodge with gentle knocks but obviously if it were to get knocked hard I'd be worried. This thing sits low to the floor so for guitars like les pauls etc your gonna have to use a right angle jack otherwise its gonna hit the floor. Not cheap but this stand is almost perfect for me. I'm wrapped with it and couldn't recommend it highly enough if you after a quality compact stand that's portable
