25 ft Heavy Duty 3/4” Red Garden Hose, Solution4Patio, Male/Female Fittings

This is an excellent hose, I will buy this again for my employees. It has kept its tight shape from packaging, it likes to loop a little, this is the only comment I would make. Not a gripe, just a comment. I would guess it is because of the casing construction. It does get softer in the Texas sun, but likes to go back to its tight coil from packaging. The 3/4" is about the smallest size I would buy, this fills our pools near the same rate as our canvas braided 1" fire hoses with 3/4" hose fittings. That is most likely the limits of the hose connection in the house side. It is lighter and easier to manage than the 1" hoses, not as light and flexy as the Gilmor Flexogens we have that are 3/4", which we have had for numerous years and seriously abused, run over, pulled around sharp fence corners, leave in continuous sunlight. But the flexogens have been hard to get consistent quality, if they have them at all. This is a very an excellent hose at a great price point. It isn't light, but compared to other 3/4" brass fitting hoses that you could bungee jump with, not really an issue. It will be heavier than a 5/8, especially a 1/2. But those aren't really of much value unless you have a much longer day than the rest of us to watch water fill something. Please know- Any hose will perform and last much much longer if it is coiled loosely doing 1/2 twists each loop. It will uncoil and be much easier to use the next time and you will be happier with it as it is much easier to use. Since we started taking much greater care on the looping up o our hoses after use we have seen much longer life and faster water travel. If you loop them up carefully, kinks are far less common which will stress the casing and shorten the life if the hose dramatically. Hose reels are a bad idea, to tight of a loop. And- only buy true brass fitting hoses. The brass colored aluminum will chemically weld to what ever you put it on. Spend extra- get extra, which is really just what used to be standard But whatever.

Nice hose but realize this is very thick and heavy. Much better than the black hoses that make your hands black as well as those thin green ones. Should last forever!!

This product is well made and cleanly finished with quality materials. We use it in an area exposed to sun for quick clean of feet, shoes and tools when coming back on to our deck from the muddy garden area. It retains its color and condition well. Not necessarily designed for this purpose, be advised that flexibility of this hose is stiff and that it returns to the original coil size after use (3 star for maneuverability). Note: Where N/A would be preferred, our rating of 1 star for Light weight is not because this product is not light in weight, it is instead because it is heavy duty in design and build.

This is the third one i have bought, needed a bit more reach. I like the brass connections, light weight, and no kinks. A good warranty comes with this as well. The delivery was annoying, because i got my neighbor's amazon order, and they got my roommate's order, and i had to go to their house, and that's when i found out they had my roommate's order. I am an honest person, but not everyone will give you your stuff back if they get it instead of you. I have had thing's delivered by my postal mail carrier that i, or my roommate never received, and the post office says that if it got scanned, then you-re SOL. The delivery today was from amazon, and thing's sometimes get mixed up, but it's not a common problem, just mentioning this because it happened. I haven't used the hoses but twice, but if they don't hold up, i will come back to let y'all know. G-d bless.

This review is for "Solution4Patio Homes Garden 3/4 in. x 4 ft. Short Garden Hose Red Lead-Hose Male/Female". I bought this to attach to a dehumidifier that I have in my basement, so that I don't have to empty the water container; instead, it drains via the hose directly into my floor drain. I wish I would've bought a hose that was a bit longer, especially given how sturdy/inflexible it is, but that was my fault, not the product's, and even at its current length it does do the trick! I just have to keep my dehumidifier quite close to the floor drain. I recommend this item if you need a sturdy, short hose!

The main features of a hose is how long it lasts as well as the old kinking issues. The hose has some weight to it so that is a good sign. Also so far it is kink resistant. It will kink if one is not paying attention but it has some ability to fight kinking at least based on a few days of use. How long it will last will take time to assess. I do have hopes for this one. The hose it replaced was close to 20 years old and had laid stretched out in the sun for the last 5 years. To me that is durability. It did have a kinking issue which ultimately brought about its demise.

Big yards require long hoses. Hauling a 100 foot hose around can get very frustrating as it twists and turns and ends up with a kink in it. Those darn kinks have to be worked out before you can continue your work. As I have become older I finally realized how much time I was wasting by having to stop and untangle my hoses. Although I had trouble finding a 100 foot 3/4 inch "no-kink" hose, I decided to buy the 50 footer, try it out, and then buy another 50 foot length to add to it. This hose has exceeded my expectations and I placed my second order today. You can't go wrong with this. It might cost you a bit more but it will save you a lot of time and aggravation.
