Beginner set
My daughter is enjoying this Chess set and she’s learning how to play the game! I wasn’t sure if she understood what it was telling her to do, but she seems to adapt to the instructions and getting more involved with the game. I probably will try other learning methods including her school’ chess club for beginners.

Easy to learn to play chess
This chess set is great. The quality is good. It is well made and sturdy. As stated there are different options to play. I choose an option to teacher my daughter on how to play chess. When I am not home she can play and practice by herself. 2 players can play together. The voice of the board game made it very sophisticated. It fit nicely in a case for easy traveling and bring on the road. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Doesn't do the two most important things
Magnetic feature not strong enough to keep pieces from tipping off board if board is moved (useless for plane or car travel) Finicky electronics make it so you have to be super precise in how you place the pieces for the board to read which piece was moved where. Plus it feels cheap and it's ugly. Returned for the ASNEY Upgraded Magnetic Chess Set, 12” x 12” Folding Wooden Chess Set with Magnetic Crafted Chess Pieces, and am very happy with the quality and look/feel of the board, including the foam storage inserts inside the folding board.

Fun to use
If you want to learn Chess, this is a great buy. It is all electronic and tells you not only how to move but also if a move is illegal. You also have more games that can be played of this set. It's great for young and old alike.

As expected. Great for any chess lover
My dad ordered this through me for my son for Christmas. It's been a great practice and fun tool for an 11 year old and 64 year old. It's an updated version of the computer chess board my dad had when I was little. This one has many levels and time options. Whether you want to get better or love chess and have no one to challenge you.... This is a nice gift.
