Good quality, the color is vibrant and bright. I like the cap of the bottle it makes it easy to use very functional.

How much blue does it take to change the colour of your project? Very little blue. It’s very saturated so it’ll take ages for you to go through the entire bottle. I’d say as far as food dye goes is pretty good quality. I’ve also used it for cookies, cupcakes, and some other pastries so it works for pretty much anything you can eat.

Great, strong color

Bought a blue gel color in store before, even after using a whole tube it could only turn my fudge to be a light mint color, I decided to order this even though the recipe asks for gel and I am glad I bought this - just 7-8 drops it already turned to the blue I wanted! This is definitely the food coloring you want. I agree it could get a bit messy, just be alert and careful when you use it.

I made a blue velvet cake and it turned out great

I purchased this to make blue velvet cupcakes for my son’s birthday. I usually use 2 tablespoons of red food coloring for the recipe, so I just switched to blue. The problem is, food coloring in stores usually only come in 1 oz bottles and are quite costly. This is a cost effective alternative. McCormick is a trusted brand that I was raised on. It did not affect the flavor of the cake and made them a beautiful blue color! Everyone loved them! I highly recommend it, and even bought it in green - just in case!
