Good performance-good price
No mystery as these Forstner bits are what they are. They perform well making precise, clean holes and are absolutely fine for most people. Fine craftsmen (women) may require more; unfortunately, I do not.

Greta bits, reduced tear out.
These are high quality bits. I use them with my drill press and they've greatly reduced tear out on the back side of my work. They move through hard wood and soft wood easily. Just remember to adjust speeds according to the type of material. The tip makes it easy to line up holes for accuracy. Great product.

Works perfect
Sturdy box and everything is machined well and is very sharp. Been using them for awhile and I get a clean cut whole every time!

Larger bits are dull and almost unusable
Some of the larger bits are very dull. You have to file an edge on them to actually use them and the performance is still not good.
