Okay so, you need to buy this. If you're looking through reviews, it's probably because your lips are hella chapped, peeling, bleeding, and all together super gross. Buy this. Now. 100% worth it. I've had this just a couple of days and my lips no longer hurt and they are healing for the first time in MONTHS. While I usually have pretty dry skin, it got worse than usual with weird weather and constantly wearing a mask - I thought maybe I had an infection or something. This stuff fixed me right up in just a couple of days. Be warned, however, if you are not familiar with tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is great and has a lot of awesome healing properties... but it tastes awful and the smell is strong. It also goes on a little gritty but smooths out to a normal smooth lip balm feeling. I bought this because of the natural ingredients and because I was at my wits end trying to find a solution. Great product, great price.

Great stuff, works great and goes on well (maybe a little thick melts kinda fast). Cures my lips fast, within a day. Do yourself a favor and buy direct, price is 1/3 of here (price jumped 2 bucks last month alone)

I got a cold sore recently (something that hasn't happened in many years) and immediately looked for a lip balm with tea tree oil for its healing and antiseptic properties. It goes on smoothly for me, although not as smoothly as regular chap stick stuff. I used it, and my cold sore was immediately affected. It started going down as soon as I applied it, relieving the pain and that weird itch that comes with cold sores. The sore quickly dissipated within days. I lost my first stick and had to order another.l I think the cat has it hidden away somewhere. At least she waited until my cold sore was gone before deciding it was a nice roly-poly toy. I love the scent and the cooling effect it has on my lips, but I have quite a few tea tree products. I use it regularly now. It is a little pricey, worth it, but pricey enough to take away one star.

Dessert Essence tea tree kip balm has been my go-to secret weapon against chapped lips for over a decade. As an active winter-sport participant my lips can develop deep bleeding cracks within a single day. With this lip balm they are gone overnight! Even when you get to the peeling stage of chapped lips and everything is cracked and painful this works wonders! You will feel instant relief from pain and irritation and then actual healing. I also love that this doesn't leave a waxy feeling on my lips like other balms. This sinks in while providing visible hydration. My local store where I used to purchase this closed during covid and I couldn't find it anywhere locally. After a week of using another brand when my store of these ran out I couldn't take it and HAD to find this online. Currently, it is a great price and absolutely worth the bang for your buck.

The first time I tried it I must admit I hated the taste and the aroma. Living in Arizona, the climate is extremely dry year round and my lips are constantly dry and chapped. I have used many balms of this product by Desert Essence and can honestly say they are the best. I used to work for a Fortune 500 company selling skin care products and tanning lotions including lip balms. I learned to use ONLY balms that do not contain petrolatums. This ingredient will actually further dry out your lips. This product is petrolatum FREE and have moisturized my lips uncompromisingly well over any other lip balm I have used or sold!! Be forewarned, petrolatum free products have a tendency to become "gritty" while used. Overlook this minor drawback and reap the unending rewards. During periods of high intensity sun exposure I recommend a balm containing a SPF rating of at least 15 or higher. Ironically, I am now addicted to the energizing taste and aroma of pure Tea Tree Oil. Can't live without em!

I like the idea of having tea tree oil in a chapstick. This chapstick however is so hard it is painful to put on even if you don't have chapped lips. I even tried to warm it a bit and it was still way too hard to apply. I was very disappointed in this product and would not recommend this to anyone.

We ordered this because I have found that tea tree oil helps prevent cold sores - at least for me. So I have enjoyed this lip balm because it has that oil in it. The thing we DON'T really like about it is the rough 'sandlike' feeling to it. I like to apply lip balm that goes on smoothly and doesn't feel 'rough' on your lips - ESPECIALLY if they are dry or struggling. This one feels 'rough' going on which we don't like.

The price of this tiny tiny product is very steep, however, it does it's job of nicely keeping the lips moist. The tea tree has soothing properties and helps with my cold sores.
