Easy to use, strong and stiff in the best of ways
Purchased this compass to true-up a sewing pattern after alterations and it worked like a charm! It came very quickly which I needed for my project and I believe I will be using it for many years to come.

Super sturdy, well built, complete kit
This scribe has done an excellent job for several renovation projects in my 100 year old house where nothing is straight. It has enable me to apply custom cuts to lumber for contoured fits. It's well built, includes two soft lead pencils for easy marking and a sharpener.

Well crafted in a classic design
The divider was a fair price, found as described and delivered when expected. It seemed to be well made with attention to detail. I liked the way operation was smooth and arms well mated. The pencil holder was sized to fit standard wood pencil or mechanical 2 mm lead holder.

The pencil holder is just a small screw and let’s the pencil move a little, just can’t put a lot of pressure on it but shouldn’t have to anyway

FOUND, diamond in the rough
This item is an absolute gem. Not only is it built tough, but very easy to use and get precise measurements/layout lines. It’s got some weight to it, so that you know that you’re actually holding a tool, and not a high school grade compass of sorts. I would recommend this tool to anyone that has a need for it, whether it’s daily, or once a year, at that price you really can’t loose. Cheers
