Yes please! - If you've tried other formulations of Proraso (namely the tube formulations), you know it's going to be a great shave. This sensitive skin version is no exception, it delivers a slick, cushiony lather, whether you face or bowl (scuttle, mug, or what have you) and brush lather. Like the other versions, the lather retains moisture very well, so no drying out on your face or in your bowl. If you're finding that irritation is a problem, and you're bouncing from blade manufacturer to blade manufacturer, try this formula. I know some folks have a sensitivity to nickel, or sometimes the hyper-scientific marketing termed blade coatings; this problem is no joke. This formula, with green tea and oatmeal may be just the ticket. Want to try it? Preparation is key for this experiment, so let your face or scalp rest for a few days, to heal and rest; just deal with the stubble, and let the haters hate. Mount up your trusted, tried-and-true blade of choice, and lather up with the sensitive skin magical brew, and have yourself a shave. Be mindful of your technique, because you'll be more aware of how this formula provides such a solid and pleasant cushion and glide for your razor. Done shaving? Great now hold up...Don't use your usual post-shave routine. Got an alum block? If not, get one. I suggest the Proraso block, it's made in ITALY, not CHINA...so you can have a bit more confidence that the block is alum, not some mystery composition. After applying the alum, wait a full minute, and rinse with COLD water, then PAT, not wipe or rub your face dry. Give yourself at least thirty seconds, and apply the sensitive skin post-shave balm, you don't want to use something with alcohol in it, which may dry out your freshly shaved face or scalp. Next? Reap the benefits of a great shave, without the usual irritation. As always, YMMV with any and all shaving related products. Just a personal note about the fragrance. This formula has what I'd describe as a citrus-like scent. I find it clean, and refreshing. But, you know how it goes, others categorize it as awful. I would say that it is nowhere near as polarizing as the scent of ARKO (urinal cake, anyone?). If you like some of the grapefruit smelling citrus based shaving soaps, creams, and aftershave stuff out there, this will not disappoint. Review: Exceptional Premium Shave Cream from Italy at Affordable Prices - I can't say enough about how much I love Proraso shave products. They are non-comedogenic meaning their products won't clog your pores. I have used almost all of the different Proraso shave soaps in bowls and their creams. Currently I am using the Proraso sensitive skin shave bowl along with their sensitive skin preshave cream. It adds a layer of protection/slickness for the skin before applying the shave cream. Their line is sensitive skin products come in the easily recognizable white packaging. All of the different scents of Proraso's shave products are wonderful. This has an almost floral, honeysuckle scent. I think honeysuckle is probably the best description for the sensitive skin line of shave originate products. It's very subdued though, a subtle scent, not overwhelming. This is not designed to be applied by hand. You could apply by hand but you will never build foam that way. Nor will to be able to elevate your whiskers. This requires a shave brush. However I would not purchase Proraso's shave brushes. They use boar hair bristles. You want to find a badger hair shave brush. The bristles are softer and develop an even nicer texture over time. I have had the same one for years. You can find many affordable options on desertcart. I bought my badger hair shave brush on desertcart. I bought the Rocky Mountain Barber Pure 100% Best Badger Hair Barber Grade with a stand almost 7 years ago. In fact, it will be exactly 7 years ago in six days. Grab it! I looked, it's still available on desertcart for a measly $23.99! For badger hair, that's a steal. 🚨HOW TO APPLY 🚨 Now, why you need a brush. This isn't Gillette Foamy, for two reasons, after using Gillette Foamy your face will hate you for awhile. It probably won't even be on speaking terms with you until you upgrade from Grandpa's shave cream to this. Secondly, you don't squeeze this into your hand and use fingers to apply it. This is similar to using a bowl but maybe easier. 1. Wet your brush with hot water. 2. Shake a small amount of the water out but not too much. If you brush is dripping with water and you apply the cream to your face, properly, which I will explain how, you'll see why. Let's say that you will probably have to clean the mirror and the whole sink area. You will get a feel for how much water you need on the brush. I have had a few cleanups as a beginner. 3. Put an inch, maybe an inch and a half of shave cream on the brush. 4. To create foam like Gillette Foamy and make Grandpa jealous, take the brush and keep going around your face on quick circular motions. As you do that multiple times around your face the cream will start to build into that beautiful Cool Whip™️ foam that pillows on your face. I would suggest getting Proraso's Preshave Cream to accompany this, or any shave cream you use. Their products are PREMIUM, they are all still made on Italy, but they are sold at a ridiculously affordable price. Their shave creams and soaps and preshave creams last a long time also.

texture varies
I use this cream when I don't have time to use my brush and solid soap shaving cream. This seems to be the best of the tube type creams I have tried over the years. That said, I wish the quality were more consistent: Sometimes it is smooth textured and thick, but other times it is a bit gritty, like fine sand is mixed in. Once it was both - smooth at the start of the tube, and gritty/thick by the time I reached the bottom of the tube. And one time it was a bit runny through the entire tube. All of the different textures gave a decent shave, but it is disconcerting not knowing what is going to come out of the tube! This is the reason I usually use a brush and cake type shaving soap. With a brush, the lather is consistent.

Smooth shave – nice fragrance
I'm a big fan of this kind of shaving cream. As a result, I have many brands. – Cremo, Van Der Hagen, Amazon, etc. I decided to give this brand a try, and am very satisfied. It compares favorably with all the others. In fact, it washes off easier than Cremo and gives a comparable, smooth and close shave. With any double edge blade, nicks are possible if your careless; this cream minimizes the risk. It has a very mild and pleasant smell. I will buy it again, but since I have a large assortment that may take a while.

Une crème à raser d'excellence. Vraiment rien à voir avec les "mousses à raser". Il faut bien sûr une brosse à raser pour la mettre sur le visage et les parties intimes. Pas de rougeur et très douce

Product as a product is great. But I ordered twice and twice I received pure water inside instead of cream. Just to mention that I ordered from Amazon Ireland. When I ordered from UK item was in a cream form has to be. So I think that is the problem how is stored in some warehouse in Ireland. Just wanted to mentioned because product is great but depends from you ordering.
