CLASSIQ 2 AV Version - Gray/Purple

I have tried other all-in-one trio consoles and other brands and this is the second time I have bought from Old Skool for one of their Classiq units. Both have been impressive especially for the price. This due console works great. The power button is simple, just flip up for NES, no setting the console (like on other units) then pressing power, it's all one switch. Second, NES and SNES run flawless so far, haven't seen any noticeable issues and the NES audio, while not the best quality, matches the original NES instead (unlike other units). Plus you can use the SNES controller for the NES and get a turbo A and B button. It even mas the Y and B and A and B so its not awkward playing games like Super Mario Bros. Pros -Can use original controllers -Can use SNES as NES with turbo if you'd like -Easy power switch, flip up to NES to turn on NES, etc. -Reset button is satisfying -Flash carts work just fine for SNES and NES -No issues emulating original games -Sound matches original SNES and NES -NES zapper works great -Included NES controller is great and ergonomic. Buttons feels fantastic. Love the purple. Cons (minor) -NES sound is a little choppy and pitchy, but still very close to the original NES, hardly a con but just to be up-front -Included SNES controller has good buttons but feels very cheap and light -Power brick is a bit bulky, would love to see a slimmer one. Overall rating: 9/10, best NES and SNES clone bundle I've ever owned.

This was easy to set up and it plays all my old games perfectly. The controllers work great too. This system only connects with the RCA cables.

The item itself is great and works great but it was shopped with a label on the retail box itself. Not ideal and I like to keep my boxes pristine either gaming related stuff and they squashed that idea.

The snes cartridge slot stopped working on my retro duo . The classiq 2 AV is awesome . I can play my snes games again and use the super Gameboy . My favorite controller included with the system is the nes controller. I can play nes games with an nes controller again .

Worked truly great for a few months, but the AV video port on the console quickly became worn and unusable. No option for product support or part replacement at this price level, so beware that you'll need to proceed with EXTREME caution if you want any chance of this product working for a full year.

So far, it’s ran all the games I’ve given it and works fine. The only issue I have with it it’s that the socket grip for the SNES slot is so strong I’m afraid I may accidentally break one of the carts. Other than that, it’s pretty good. Edit: I noticed NES sound quality was a bit janky, this became VERY apparent on Super Mario Bros 3, where it would occasionally play a painfully dissonant note.

Ordered this console after reading other reviews with some doubt since they stated it may have some frame lag issues. I'm here to say after playing this console replica it is absolutely 100 percent perfect! I've been looking to match the game play from my original experience as a kid and this definitely takes the cake, as you see in my photo two of the best games for NES and SNES play flawlessly. Thank you to the manufacturer of this product very very much, hats off to you!!!

My 16-bit controller for this broke less than a month after I started playing with it. The company was great and totally refunded my money for the system, so I have no qualms about the customer service. It could be that that particular controller just wasn't that great. However the system only comes with one 8-bit and One 16-bit controller so I would go ahead and invest in a set of 16-bit controllers to go along with this if you want to play with friends. The eight bit controller seems to be holding up well. Go again if you want to play with friends invest in a set of those.

Fonctionne avec mes vieux jeux de nes et snes. L'affichage n'est pas parfait. La connection électrique peut briser facilement.

Corre bien los juegos da buen video e image. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque sacar los juegos del slot es difícil, cómo que se atoran. De todo lo demás funciona muy bien y sus controles son buenos.
