The maximum no-load RPM of a brushless motor is determined by multiplying the kV number by the battery voltage. For example, this motor with a 7.4v LiPo (fully charged around 8.2v) would be 2200 x 8.2 = 18,040 rpm.

What is 2826 1400 kV motor amp rating?

30 -40 A esc works fine. It depends on how many cells and which prop you are using. I'm running a 40 amp ESC with a 11" prop on 3 cells. It's not fussy. you could probably go lower if you have to. I think I read that the mfgr. recommended 30-40 A. A smaller prop and/or less pitch will draw less.

This Is A Winner!

Small but powerful motor

I have a 63" VOLANTEXRC FPV RC Airplane that I got off of Amazon last year. I had to replace the existing motor after a crash when I suffered a loss of radio connection. The plane itself was easily repaired. I bought this FLASH HOBBY D2826 2200KV motor to replace the original. It works very good and has plenty of power. I am using a 2200 lipo battery. I replaced the exisiting original 30 amp, which over heated, with a used 40 amp ESCi already had.

Same as a 2212 motor.

Very disapointed. This is the same as a 2212 motor. They just go by case size instead of stator size. So no advantage just more money.
