Great audio pickup. Great video quality. Large vertical field of view. Easy to use with Zoom Meetings. Connect it to the computer and it worked! Love it!!!

Microphone Feedback and replacement received from Hong Kong after several weeks
Hi,There seems to be a feedback problem with the microphone of the Kandao. When using the Kandao with Zoom and using both the microphone and speaker of the Kandao, there is a garbled sound that results when the person using the Kandao speaks. This problem was reported by others on Amazon-see other reviews. I tried reaching out to [email protected], with questions about the microphone problem. I sent recordings of Zoom meetings which they admitted were not the way the camera was supposed to work.I like the way the camera and speakers work, but with the mic problem, this device is not an all in one device because you would need to use a different mic to make it work without the feedback.After more emails to [email protected], they replied that they would send a replacement if I returned the defective one to a US address. I did return it and they received all the paperwork, but have still after almost 2 weeks not shipped the replacement.Updating this review, I finally did receive a replacement that worked very well. So, although it took a while to resolve, the company did honor its warranty and did replace the device with a good working one. The microphone on the replacement works as expected and is very sensitive and clear. The camera also provides a clear image of the 360-degree view.

Lack of information and help
Great appearance; love the features. Could not get output from speakers after updating firmware. Not enough guide to user in the accompanying manual or online. Requested online assistance but problem remains unresolved. Had to put meeting project on hold--for now.

Works great!
We have used this camera and speaker for multiple meetings with our physicians over the last 5 months. The camera does a good job of finding the person speaking and focusing on them. The microphones picks up people in the room clearly. We have not had any complaints on hearing people speaking in the room.There are only 2 negatives for the device. 1. The speaker could be louder at times. Especially in our larger conference room and when the remote person is not speaking very loud. 2. Sometime we have to disconnect the camera from the computer before launching Microsoft Teams or the Camera sometimes does not show a picture even though Microsoft Teams says the camera is connected. I think this could be because of the 16 foot USB extension cable we have to use to connect it to the computer and not the device itself.

The sound input does not work at all! Return process is horrible
I don’t expect to receive a faulty product! The input sound does not work at all. After chatting w Amazon associates for a long time .. they expect me to pay for the international shipping return of a bad defective product I received.. this is not fair. And the customer service team cannot help at all!
