When I first got these, I laughed at how long they are. I ordered them to replace old tongs that were about 10” long. I didn’t pay attention to the size of these when I ordered them and they’re about twice the length of the old ones. I am not laughing anymore! They are fantastic! I can use them while food is in the oven. I can use them for the grill and not burn the hair off my arms. They reach down into tall containers and I even use them to reach items in high cupboards. They’re really sturdy, too and clean up easily. Great item!

Love these tongs! I prefer these scissor tongs ones over the ones with a spring. Good control and easy to grab and pick up foods.

The significant other is trying to find tongs similar to those she has had in the past. Apparently, those older tongs are no longer made. So, she has been buying an array of tongs to try to find some she likes. The metal of these is all stainless with plastic covered handles. The handle openings are large for larger hands. The tongs are angled rather than straight to be able to reach into a pan while keeping hands at a lower level to avoiding steam and popping grease. Of course everything is dishwasher safe.The price of these is low enough that we assess their value as being about average.Our overall rating is five stars. We wish we could buy these in a bit longer size, but 11 inches will have to do since that seems like the common length these days. Otherwise, these tongs are functional, can be held by the tiny significant other and me, and they are affordable.Enjoy!

I tell you what, I used to just reach in the pan and grab my sausages and flip em over cause I'm a man and a man don't need no finger prints. I got calloused workin' mans hands clear up to my elbow. I used to reach into my boilin' taters and grab 'em out and peel 'em with my bare hands. Then I went to see the doc and he says I'mma die if I keep using my man hands. I don't know all the medical mumbo-jumbo but the bottom line is I had to find a new way to flip my sausage and peel my taters and everything else. I had to find a new way to live! The HINMAY Stainless Steel Scissor Tongs with Black Handle gave me what I needed to succeed in this brave new world. Now when I'm down about my man hands I just think "I can flip my sausage, I can flip my sausage, I can flip my sausage, ....." and life is alright.

These tongs have had little use yet but the most obvious thing is the weight and heavy wire used to make them. They should last . Better than expected. Arrived very quickly.
