Not the same robe shown in the listing but nice enough anyway
Okay so I ordered this gown to be able to wear over a white satin pyjama onesie that is fairly flimsy and revealing, and I knew I’d want something to throw on over it to cover up a bit and to add an extra layer for when it goes chilly.I’m quite disappointed in this robe though. I don’t think the actual garment that I’ve received is the same as that in the stock photos. So essentially I think the seller has used either stolen or incorrect photos for this listing, so please be aware of that. The sleeve on the actual item are not flowy and lacy like the photos show, but rather more just a regular material.The length is okay I guess, I suppose it’s meant more for more petite women, but it’s not too short to be a problem, again- it just isn’t as long as appears on the stock photos.The fabric itself is a soft enough material, with some give to allow for a comfortable fit that moulds to your shape nicely, it does show off curves well when belted. The belt doesn’t match in fabric at all though- it’s quite a thick and rough satin fabric that is a complete juxtaposition from the soft and lightweight feel of the robe.Look for the price it’s fine. I don’t think the quality is bad at all for the price paid, it’s just not as nice as the photos show, and I think that’s the biggest downfall- feeling cheated in order to make sales, when to depict the real item would create less upset and disappointed customers.I will say that the general sizing also is okay bar the length- I am a UK size 6/8 and the small fits me perfectly fine.
