Ultra Soft Premium Foam Ear Plugs - 30 Pair - 33dB Highest NRR - Best Quality Earplugs for Travel Sleeping Shooting Snoring Work

These earplugs were recommended on a tinnitus forum, the idea being to keep them handy in different places so you'll never have to go into a loud movie or construction site or meteor impact (kidding) unprepared and have your ears hurting and potentially getting damaged. I tried them. They are very comfortable, I'd say the most comfortable earplugs I've ever worn. (I've also tried ER-20s, Dubs, Radians molded silicone, the Mack's soft silicone ones that cover up the canal, and various foam earplugs similar to Kandegos but not as good.) The Kandegos dampen sound very well without muffling it. After a short while, I hear whatever I need and even forget I'm wearing them. They make my ears feel safe and cozy. This is probably because they avoid contributing sound on their own. The seal they make with the ear somehow prevents the self-noise you normally look for to be sure the earplugs are in properly. In other words, when I talk or scratch my face or touch my ear or whatever, I'm not jarred by very loud, deep sounds. This is a downside to Dubs and even the molded silicone kind made by Radians and others. God forbid you actually hit the external part of the Dubs on something. For a box of so many terrific earplugs - really the ones I'm happiest to wear - the price is better than reasonable. The biggest downsides might be getting them in and the waste of using disposable earplugs. They are not particularly difficult to get in at all, a bit easier for me than the other standard foam ones, but a bit harder than the silicone kind, since you have to roll them and insert them and wait a few moments to make sure they expand in the right place. As for waste, they can probably be reused a time or two, but I suspect they're not meant to be washed. You will probably want to take these out after several hours and let your ears breathe, but unlike with the other earplugs I've worn, my ears aren't hurting at that point. I haven't tried using them when I sleep yet, but I probably wouldn't do that unless I were on a plane. I expect they'll handle that situation well. If you don't have another solution already, and probably even if you do, I'll echo that recommendation on the forum: do yourself a favor and put pairs of these in your car, backpack, pocket, purse, etc, etc. You'll be very happy the first time you need them.

I find these hard to use. I carefully roll them as instructed, pull back on my ear, attempt to insert the plug, and hold it in place for 30 seconds, but it almost always folds over and does not enter the canal. One of out five times, on one side or the other, I am successful, which means I have to throw out about 10 misshapen plugs before they are effective in one ear. When I manage to get them inserted, they do block the noise, so I occasionally use them when I have the patience. In the meantime, I am researching noise blocking headsets.

I used to be able to sleep through loud noises whereas sneaky quieter noises tended to awaken me. Nowadays, it seems like almost any noise, quiet or loud, will keep me awake or wake me up. Because of this situation I have been using ear plugs nightly for the last few years. Initially, very lightweight foam plugs seemed to be my best bet and last year I bought a 200 pack of Howard Leight MAX1 earplugs after having first tried them in 2013. The large pack was a big mistake. Although I would use a new pair every night I very quickly became sensitized to them and they would become very painful within an hour of inserting them making it impossible to sleep. I received my Kandego Premium Foam Earplugs about 10 days ago and have been using them nightly since then. They are great. Excellent sound blockers and so comfortable I can hardly tell I have them in except for the quietness. Although these earplugs and the Howard Leight plugs are both foam the Kandego Foam has a totally different feel than the Howrd Leights. If they continue to work the way they are now I highly recommend them. I am very, very happy with them.

these earplugs are smoothe ( not scratchy ) when you roll the earplug to insert it into the ear, it unfolds FAST , if the first attempt doesn't work , it then it looses the form and becomes to floppy and insertong it in the ear becomes difficult,and and takes 10 min before the form is suitable to be inserted, they DONT itch they DONT feel hard or itchy, the only complaint i have is they HARDLY BLOCK OUT SOUND!!!! these are apparently block out 33 decibels... i can still hare my air purifier...;.i tried multiple pars and used the directions on the box, didnt work, do i then tried many different techniques, it STILL DOESN'T WORK! so i instead inserted another brand named Flents only have 29 decibel protection. and he other brand Flints BLOCK MORE noise!!!... How is it that the brand Flents that only has a 29 decibel rating blocks out MORE sound than Kandego ear plugs which apparently have a 33 decibel rating ??

They're pretty good. I waited a few weeks after purchase to write the review in order to try them. I use each pair for around one week. The first few pairs were very stiff and it was difficult to work them into softness. One pair was quite long. However, they block sound very, very well. This most recent pair I put in was incredibly soft and blocked even more sound than the previous pairs and I was quite happy. These work better for me than other pairs and I do recommend them despite their quirks.

I'm not sure who is writing these great reviews, but I have been using EAR ear plugs for over 30 years and decided to try Kandego ear plugs based on the reviews. After using these ear plugs for a couple of weeks, I have this to say: - Yes they are soft and comfortable, but they are so soft that they don't go deep enough into the ear canal, so they don't reduce the sound as much as EAR. - Kandego ear plugs will get thinner when you roll them, but for some reason they don't fit to the diameter of the ear canal as well, also reducing the effectiveness of sound reduction. - I bought 30 pairs of Kandego ear plugs for $16.99, I can get 200 pairs of EAR classic ear plugs for $25.96 (https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Uncorded-Earplugs-Value-390-1000/dp/B0006GWRY0/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1465857110&sr=8-11&keywords=EAR+ear+plugs+classic). I am a musician and use ear plugs regularly, when I play, to reduce hearing loss. When using Kandego ear plugs, after a night of playing, I have a ringing in my ears. When I use EAR ear plugs, I do not. I leave the decision to you, but I plan on going back to EAR.

Fast shipping, excellent company to do business with. I developed itchy ears wearing the usual foam earplugs, and am afraid of the wax ones. Then I found these. Very similar to reg. foam earplugs but much better quality. They expand slower, much easier to insert in your ears and obtain a perfect fit. They come out easily, with no "suction" feeling. Best of all, no itchy ears! Great noise blocking!

I purchased these for use by my grandsons and myself. The grandsons are 10 and 12 and they don't think they need hearing protection. After making them wear them, they realize they do need the protection even when shooting a 22 rifle. They use them every time we go out to shoot and they understand why Grandpa wears his ear plugs. These ear plugs do the job of sound reduction and are comfortable to wear.
