Lansky LERAS Eraser Block

I had no idea it worked this good! I used to use Barkeepers Friend or Comet Cleanser to clean ceramic sticks not after using this block for 3 minutes, with better results.

Works well to clean sharpening rods.

Was not familiar with these to start with, but they work.So well to clean up your ceramic sharpeners

Works very well in removing residual metal.

These little eraser blocks remove all traces of metal residue from my Spyderco ceramic rods. No more running to the sink for cleaning. These blocks make cleaning much faster and less messy. While it's true a regular eraser can do roughly the same thing, they don't have the mild abrasive infused in these Lansky eraser blocks, which makes the job faster and more efficient. Plus, these blocks last a long, long time. A unique product, well worth the money

After owning and my sharpener for years I was afriad I was going to be forced to replace the rods, they were basically "full" of material. I decided to check Lansky's site and see what they might say in the sense of questions, etc. In first looking at products I realized they sell this eraser and purchased immediately. Works great!

Handy little addition to my sharpening tool kit. If you have ceramic rods in your kit, you know how quickly they become saturated with metal clogging up the pours and making it useless. This cleans it right up. Works on my ceramic rods and Arkansas stones and any other sharpening tool that doesn't use honing oil. It also will take surface rust off of knives and tools which is a nice bonus, however the eraser has a mild abrasive in it so if oyu are concerned about hurting the finish on your knives and tools, do not rub them directly on your knives and tools.

Ik weet niet wat voor materiaal het is. Het lijkt alsof het een kruising is tussen een gum en een slijpsteen. Het is rubber achtig, maar toch weer niet. Het maakt metaal goed schoon.

I use a ceramic sharpening rod for my kitchen knives and over time it had gotten clogged with the steel dust and seemed less effective. This cleaner is simple to use, just wet it and rub along the ceramic rod and it scours out the dust, leaving the rod looking much cleaner and it is now back to bringing the sharpest edge back to knives with just a few passes along the rod. The cleaner is basically a covered sponge so it takes a little wear and tear with each use but it's not excessive and I can see I am going to be able to use it many times over before needed to replace it. Very satisfied.
