V-Series 65" Class 4K HDR Smart TV V655-G9

This TV is Ben the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned I can't believe I got rid of her a good TV and put this one in because it was a little bit bigger and I wanted to buy American wow what a bad decision

To start, this is an unverified review simply because we purchased from Target instead. Moving along. The TV resolution itself is darn good for the price. The sound is better than most tvs these days too. That’s about where things stop. The manufacturer claims the tv is HDR. It’s not. Go into the tv settings. Check the system info and HDR clearly says “NO” in capital letters. There are no settings to change this. False advertising much? The processor in the tv is super outdated and slow. You’ll drive yourself mad trying to navigate through the cloisterfork of menus. It can barely change screens, menus, and struggles to even move the little frame around the tiles. What’s that mean?! New solution! You’ll need Google Chromecast (the new version) or Apple TV to make yourself sane again. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Update: 2 years in and not super satisfied here. Sometimes you turn on the TV and, although it does respond, the screen shows nothing but illuminated blackness. You have to cycle the TV on multiple times for it to eventually show a picture. The TV locks up quite frequently as well, but in odd ways. The biggest and most common example is that the TV will remain on and show whatever’s playing but everything else won’t respond. For example, you won’t be able to turn the volume up or down, or mute it, or change the channel, or even turn it off. You literally have to unplug it and reset the TV. Definitely the last time we buy this brand - wow.

I actually picked this up from walmart. picture quality is meh. if you look at it from an angle, the coloration just seems off. the 120 fps is a lie. google vizio "effective rate". the 4k is also a lie. If you use a playstation, it will tell you this. out of the 3 hdmi ports, only 1 has the ability to produce true 4k images (the arc one). smartcast is atrocious, slow, and unreiable. its consstantly failing and you have to switch channels to get it to work. the free channels are tied to the unreliable smartcast except they come with a bonus glitch. as of this time theres a glitch with the free channels and chrome cast that forces it to zoom in after a few seconds and does not let you fix the picture.

I absolutely love the new V655 I picked up. I compared it directly with a Samsung 6900 for roughly the same price and the Visio by far and away came out on top with features per dollar spent. So far I’m very impressed with the picture quality for a budget 4K TV. I have no concerns with reliability but I’ll keep this updated if anything comes up! Also, USB ports typically do not break themselves unless you are interacting with it. Perhaps you may have been a bit rough with it to the other reviewer.

I was ready to make the jump to 4k and since I did not want to wait 2 months for a TV from Amazon due to the Covid pandemic I went to Walmart and bought a Samsung 4k TV. Man was that a huge mistake! The picture was horrible! I bought the best 4k player they had which was around $180 and got a few movies. They were unwatchable on the Samsung! It as one of the curved ones. After 2 days of fighting with the Samsung I loaded it up and took it back to Walmart. I got this Vizio instead and OMG was I blown away! Now understand I had a little trouble at first with this TV but after updating it everything was great. First thing I did was slap my new copy of Predator I bought that was so bad on the Samsung I could not even watch it. My God it looked amazing on this Vizio! The picture was super clear! This TV has amazing colors that pop! I hooked up my PS4 and loaded up a few games and WOW! Its not even a ps4 pro and it all looked amazing! I have always hated Vizio before and would have never bought one but this was the only TV Walmart had in 65 inch and man am I glad I got it! ITS WORTH IT! UPDATE: Years later and this TV is going strong! I have had NO problems with it, but I will add that I update the TV when a new update comes out. A lot of the problems mentioned is due to people not updating the firmware after they get it, I am sure. Still glad I own it!

This tv is then worst I've owned so far. It's glitchy, the processor is SLOOOOW, the TV home screen freezes up and won't work if there's no internet. Just gives you a black screen so you are left wondering if it's even turned on. Picture quality is terrible because the Led blacklisting is inconsistent, backwash and bleeds out. I'll never buy another Vizio.

This was a decent TV until Vizio decided to update the program for the tv. Now it is no longer a tv, but only a monitor. The first problem is, when I turn on the tv, I end up having to turn it on and off multiple times before it finally boots up. Spending 10 or more minutes trying to get my tv to boot up is ridiculous. I can no longer get over the air antenna programming, because Vizio, in all their lack of wisdom, decided antenna should go through their Watchfree+ app. Now the only channels I can get are all the crap channels that all these services like watchfree+, and Pluto tv are offering. I want my local channels, but for some reason, I can no longer pick them up with this POS. Vizio customer service is no help. They have basically told all who have complained about this "Too bad. That's the way it is now." I have read many, many posts about others complaining about the same problem. Look at the posts on their FB page. (vizio electronics).I am now looking for a new TV, and this one will become target practice. I will NEVER buy another Vizio product.

es compatible spotify sonido excelente canales y peliculass en inglés gratis. alexa solo en inglés y no es compatible con alexa español si le pones un fire stick excelente el 4k solo lo da en la app nativa de la tv o en video juegos otros dispositivos les cuesta , el chromecast no sirve en México, para poder ver youtube tienes que usarlo desde la app del teléfono, puedes conectar la mac a la tv por vía wifii, tiene muchas ventajas y buen producto sonido y calidad de imagen solo hay que saber configurarlo para obtener el maximo. no tiene bluetooth por eso puse un fire stick trae óptico lo conecte a unas bocinas vorago spb-600 buen sonido pero se escucha mejor en blue tolth desde el firestick. 4k hdr10 Dolly etc pero sólo lo detecta la app integrada. en resumen un 9.0 trae muchas funciones excelentes y lacalidad de video buena aunque algunas funciones no sirven en México es una tv. para jóvenes adultos ya que cuesta manejar algunas cosas. Netflix , prime video, etc excelente pero se recomeinda usar la conexion de 5g por que la 2.4 no.sirve para ver los 4k bien se reaban o salen, debrian de arreglar lo de chrome cast por que es mas complejo ver youtube sin el. el sonido es muy bueno en espacio cerrado. trae muchos trucos ocultos muy buenos peliculas gratis , mejoras de color etc, los canales tiene que ser de preferencia una antena 4k aunque funciona con una antena aerea de hd de varios elementos. control resistente. material muy bueno , peso promedio para levantar entre 2 personas no es de 120 hz es de 60 en el manual lo especifica. no explica el manual todas las funciones hay que actualizarla antes de usar y durs a veces 1 hora al principio no es seguido. modo eco y modo rapido de carga reprpduce peliculas desde usb mkv(4k) mpg etc mp3 e imagenes funcion sleep , salida audio optico, con el control se puede controlar igual el ps4 el menu principal y amazon fire stick desconozco si algo mas. enciende el.ps4 si cambio a la entrada automaticamente. alexa echo dot no encuentra el dispositivo tv no enciende la tv desde ahi. tare muchas apps pero no todas funcionan en Mexico. conectela a un protector de voltaje.

Porqueria de Television, no encontraba ni un solo canal con ninguna antena incluso compre una antena de 800 pesos y aun asi no encontró canales, la tele tiene un sintonizador de canales que NO SIRVE ademas de esto tiene un procesador que parece de celular chino de 200 pesos, su procesador es tan malo que al tratar de sintonizar un canal bloqueaba todo TODO lo demás y se trababa no podías hacer nada, cuando ponia netflix o claro video duraba unos segundos y se reseteaba, cuando ponía alguna consola pasaba lo mismo, no gastes tu dinero en esto recomiendo 100% las teles TCL yo me compre una de esas cuando hice la devolución de esta.

Tiene muy buenas funciones como el poder reproducir videos desde Facebook, Youtube desde el celular, lo malo es el menú del Smartcast ya que cuando se actualiza, se identifica con la Region y ya no eh podido verlo pero en si no me importo ya que utilizo los botones del control de Netflix, Amazon y los otros funcionan bien así que en si cumplió su cometido creo, se ve muy bien y el sonido es bueno pero no el mejor que eh escuchado para ser sincero
