They look like the real thing, but without the hassle of the candle wax and the flames at different light levels. Also, with the remote control, you can operate them from your chair, and change colours, if you want to. The biggest plus is that they can be recharged, so no more buying new candles. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived today.. they charged fairly quickly and they all work.I took off the clear film wrap off each one.. they immediately came on (along with the TV too!! LOL) cannot comment on battery life yet as this is the first use.The flames all move and the flicker effect is really good. I like the idea of not having to put batteries in as have some older ones that just kept needing replacing…

Really like these. Make a nice warm ambiance in the room. Remote control works well and they're easy to recharge.

Sadly, after opening, it was clear someone had used and then returned the product because of the dust on top of the candles and the missing bit of plastic from one of the remotes between the pad and battery (please, see the photos).Then, I noticed the big candle's wax was chipped and a bigger cracked piece, which came off and is not the fault of the delivery person as all the other items in this delivery are perfectly fine.Moreover, underneath the wax, there is no plastic to cover the internal light, the battery, etc. Therefore, this does not feel safe to use and is filmsy if dropped. Yes, the description does say it uses real wax, but in the product description, it cites Shell as the material. Also, to add to the confusion, the reviews are mixed as to whether it is made of plastic or wax.Overall, I am very sad to write that I do not recommend this product. Thank you.

I have these candles in my therapy room. The flame looks so real as it moves just like a proper flame. They are also safe and can be turned on an off with a press of the remote. which makes it so much easier than having to manually keep turning them on and off. I love the fact that they are rechargeable as I get through so many batteries with my old candles. I will definitely be purchasing more of these as I love candles around my home, and now I won't have to keep buying batteries I can afford more of these.I have ordered these candles again because I love them so much, HOWEVER when they arrived, they do not have the flickering wick as described but a static one. So although I clicked on re order from my original order these candles are different. I only ordered them again because of the flickering wick. So please be aware you may not get what is described. I would send them back, but am worried that if I re order I will just get the static wick again. I gave the original ones 5 stars, but am so disappointed I have given these 3 stars
